Bex's POV:
I asked mom to come over when I was finished with work. She did well taking care of Andi, and maybe she could teach me some ways to be a mother.
"Thank you for coming over, mom." I said.
She just sat down. "Well, I wouldn't want you to end up burning the house down because you were stressed out."
I gave her the stink eye. "Thanks for the confidence boost. Look, I'm fine. I just need tips on how to juggle all of this."
She gave me a small sheet of paper. It was a schedule. "I've used this schedule for 20 years now. It has kept my time balanced. Use this as a guide, but you'll probably need to make your own adjustments to it."
"Wow. Thanks, mom." I grabbed the paper from her.
She made a small and quick smile. "It takes some time, but you'll get there. I know it."
I smiled. "That means so much coming from you."
"It took me 6 months to get used to, so I'm assuming it'll take you longer to adjust."
I rolled my eyes. "Ok, I'm going to ignore that last part."
"I'm sorry. I'm still getting used to all of this. Just not over what happened 13 years ago."
I sat next to her. "Speaking of, we still have to tell Andi what happened."
"What's she going to think of us when we tell her what happened?" She was tearing up.
I hugged her. "She will still love us. We just need to find the best time and way to tell her the truth, ok?"
Mom hugged me back, tears still streaming from her eyes. "Ok." She stood up. "I better get going now. Good luck with everything."
"Thanks, mom." I opened the door for her and went back inside to... collect my thoughts.

Andi's POV:
I opened the door, when mom scared me. She wasn't even trying to. I was just so tired that she caught me off guard when she said, "Hi, Andi."
"Hey, mom."
"So, what did you guys do?"
"Nothing much. We just watched a movie at the theater." I was a bit shaky when I said that.
"Mhmm... is that all?"
I needed to get to my room. "Yep. That was all. Nothing else."
She stopped me as I walked away. "Upbupbup. Back to the couch. Talk to me."
I sighed and sat down. "Fine."
"What happened?"
"Cyrus and Jonah made out again."
Bex knew what was going on. "And you're still not over Jonah, are you?"
I shook my head. "It's just so weird. I'm happy for those two, but I still feel heartbroken when they have those special moments together."
She wrapped her arms around me. I wish she didn't do that, because that started to make me cry. "Why am I such a horrible person?"
"For feeling jealous?" Bex gave me a concerning look. "Andi, that's not being a bad person. That's being a normal person. You can't just lock your feelings away. All you can really do is give it time, and keep going on with your life."
"How did you get over crushes and exes?"
"I don't know. My feelings for them just started to slowly go away. In time, I just... got over them."
I yawned. "You should get to bed. It's pretty late."
"Yeah." I said. "You're right." I walked into my room. Too tired to change into my pajamas. I just plopped on my bed, and fell asleep.
