Jonah's POV:
Today's the day. Cyrus's goodbye party. I can't believe it. He's moving to the other side of the country, and that means we're probably breaking up. Based on what others have said, long distance relationships never last.

I arrived at Cyrus's house. I rang the doorbell, and he answered. Without even thinking, I planted my lips onto his. "I'm really going to miss you." I said.

A tear slid down his face. "I'll miss you too. No one has ever made me as happy as you did. And I'm not just talking about the kissing."

We both chuckled and walked in. Andi and Buffy were already here, as well as a few others. "Hey, Andi. Hey, Buffy."

"Hi." they both said back.

Cyrus walked away to help his stepdad, and his mom came up to us. "Hi, Andi. Jonah." We both waved. "I heard that you two finally forgave each other. It's great that Cyrus can at least know you two are staying friends."

"Yeah." Andi said. "Thank you so much for being there for Cyrus. Especially when you found out he was gay. I'm sure his dad and stepmom are helping out as well."

She made a small worried face, but it disappeared quickly. "Yeah, they're very supportive." Cyrus's mom walked away.

"Did you see the face she made when we mentioned Cyrus's dad and stepmom?" I asked Andi.

"What face?"

"Th- never mind."

Cyrus came back with drinks for all of us. "Okay, for Buffy, I have Gator-Juice. Jonah, here's some Bepis. And Andi, your every time request, something with sugar."

We all laughed and grabbed our drinks. The music started playing and we all got started dancing.

Cyrus's POV:
My mom pulled me aside and asked, "Do you have everything ready for school tomorrow?"

I was confused. "Uhh, I thought I was staying home to start packing for the move."

She took a deep breath, and that usually means she's about to tell me something super important. "Weeeeeeeeeell..."

"Mom. What's going on?"

"We're... not actually... moving."

I shouted loudly, "What do you mean we're not moving?!"

-Record Scratch Noise-

Everyone stopped and stared at us. My mom bit her lip. "I'm really sorry for all the trouble, guys. But, it's true. The Goodman's are not moving."

Andi asked, "Why did you lie, though?"

"Two reasons. Andi. Jonah. Be honest. If Cyrus didn't move, would you two have made up?"

They both looked at each other. "I don't think so." Jonah replied.

"Exactly. I knew that if I told everyone we were moving, Andi and Jonah would come to the realization that they were losing Cyrus, and that they didn't want to lose each other as well."

Buffy looked at my mom. "How did you know all of that, Mrs. Goodman?"

"I'm a mental health professional, Buffy. With enough practice, human emotion can be manipulated for the better."

We all started smiling at this. I'm not moving! I actually get to be with my friends! "Wait a second." I said. "What was the second reason?"

"Uhh, we're going to New York for a couple weeks on vacation, and we thought this would soften the blow, since you hate traveling."

I chuckled. "It worked."

Buffy's POV:
The Goodbye, Goodmans party, which was now called the End of School party, lasted for another few hours. Afterwards, everyone left, but me and Andi stayed since we were sleeping over.

"Andi, where's Jonah?" I asked. "Wasn't he sleeping over as well?"

She shrugged. "I don't know, but can you get Cyrus from his room? I don't know where to move the couch back."

I walked to Cyrus's room, and I immediately regretted not knocking. You know why? Jonah and Cyrus were eating each other's face off.

Not literally, of course. But those two boys do NOT know how to kiss. It's like watching a lion get trampled by a horde of wildebeests.

Cyrus and Jonah got up. "Uhh," Cyrus said, "Hi."

I pretended like I wasn't disgusted by their bad kissing, but I'm bad at acting. "Andi and I... need help cleaning."

Jonah quickly got up. "Yeah of course." He walked past me and whispered, "You did not see anything in here, okay?"

"I wish." I replied. "You know what? I'm going to find a how to video on kissing. And then I'm making you two watch it."

"Okay, we get it. We need to kiss better." Cyrus said, rolling his eyes.

I laughed. Andi and Jonah are friends again, and Cyrus isn't actually moving. Hopefully, I don't jinx anything, but can I just say, that our lives are great!
