1x09 - Whodunnit?

Jonah's POV:
It's hard for me to believe that someone tried to sabotage our relationship. It's harder to believe that one of Andi's friends could be the culprit.

But if that means Andi doesn't hate me, and we're still together, then I'll trust she knows what she's doing.

We noticed Buffy sitting at the lunch table with Marty. Andi and I decided to wait until they were done, before we questioned her. So we just decided to sit down.

"Why exactly would Buffy do this?" I asked Andi.

Andi shrugged. "I don't know. But she has access to my phone and locker. Maybe she at least knows what happened."

Marty walked away, leaving Buffy open to questioning. We went up to her and I said, "Heeeeyyyy, Buffy-Slayer. How's it hanging?"

"I'm doing great. So, what do you lovebirds want?"

"Someone accessed my phone and tried to sabotage our relationship."

"And you think I did it?" Buffy seemed defensive, but it was like she was hiding something. She just seemed surprised that we were interrogating her like this.

"Of course we don't think you did it." I said. "But you have access Andi's locker and phone and we were wondering if you maybe knew anything that could help us."

"What would their motive be?" Buffy asked.

Andi shrugged again. "I don't know. Hatred? Jealousy?"

Buffy's eyes widened. Her voice was soft, but I think she said, "Jealousy."

Then she spoke up, "Guys, I think it was Cyrus."

"What?" Andi said in disbelief. "Why Cyrus?"

"Well you see. Cyrus..." Buffy stopped abruptly, and just shook her head. "No. I'm keeping that secret for him. I'm sorry. I'm not going to break my promise. You want to know what's going on? I recommend asking him yourselves."

"Okay," I said. "But, we're going to need to borrow your phone for a minute. Is that fine, Buffy?"
