8x04 - Big News

Andi's POV:
I was the first to wake up. Everyone else was still fast asleep, and ugh! Jonah's drooling all over my sheets. And I just washed those too!

I make my way to the kitchen, trying my best not to wake up my parents, who are snuggled up on the couch.

Let's see. There's pancakes, bacon, and eggs. I flip the switch and begin warming up the stove. Then, I take out the food and prep the meals. About 20 minutes later, and 7 dishes were ready to serve. I took the cooking materials to the sink, but accidentally dropped one of the pans.

The echo resonated throughout the entire apartment, but miraculously, only Bowie woke up from that. "Whoa! Andi! What was that?"

"Sorry, Dad. I was making some breakfast, and I dropped one of the pans."

His expression was in shock from what I said. "What? Is dropping a pan a bad sign from the universe or something?"

He started to walk towards me, with a huge smile on his face. "You called me 'dad'."

"Yeah?"

"That was the first time." Surprise fills my face. Then he jumps up once and says, "Say it again!"

"Say what again, Dad?"

"Again, again!" he shouts while hugging me tight.

"No." He starts to tickle me. "Okay! Dad, Dad!" I scream while laughing hysterically.

He finally puts me down. "I'm starting to see why you and Mom fell in love. You're way too similar."

At around 9, everyone was up. We all have breakfast in the living room, and Bowie gave me a little wink. "Hey, Andi. Can you pass the syrup?"

I chuckle. "Sure thing, Dad."

Everyone looked a bit confused, but Mom was beaming. "Oh my gosh! Andi called you 'Dad'!"

Dad was just as happy. "I know, right?" His expression changed. "Oh yeah! Bex, we still gotta tell them!"

Bex made the same face. "That's right!" She looked at all of us. "Guys, we have something huge to tell you."

She put her hand up and showed us the ring. The ring! Everyone stared at its glimmering beauty in awe.

Next thing we all knew, we were dancing around like crazy, celebrating their engagement.

Cyrus's POV:
Yes! Finally! Box is happening! It's been too long! I start dancing with them, and luckily for me, I don't have to worry about knocking them down, since I'm some kind of ghost-thing.

Someone accidentally turned on the TV, and the newsperson was speaking. "In other news, 4 people have been reported as 'missing'."

All of us stop dancing immediately, and watch in shock. "So far, we haven't been able to link them to anything, so at the moment, everybody should be in high alert. We don't want anymore people to go missing."

Bex looks at everyone. "Safety precaution. We're going to have your parents pick you up, okay?"

Everybody nods in agreement.

3rd Person POV:
The four victims were trying to scream for help. But with mufflers blocking out the noise, there was nobody who could help them.

Two man walked into the room with a clipboard in one of the man's hand. "Alright. Jessica Lyte, bisexual. Davis Carter, transgender. Gordon Reef, polyamorous. And, Noah Hopkins... asexual?"

He turned to his boss. "Sir, I thought we agreed that we wouldn't kill asexuals."

"Why?"

"Well, it says nothing about them being gay. The internet just reads, 'lack of sexual attraction.' I think that means they can still be straight."

His boss nodded. "Okay. We'll leave the asexuals be. But still, except this one. He knows too much."

"Understood." He pulled out a gun and took fire. Four shots echoed in the room. All four bodies collapsed on the floor, bullet holes through their skulls.

"What's next, Sir?"

"Now, we gather up the rest of the team. Wait for a while, and then proceed to Phase Two."

Cyrus sat on the couch next to Jonah. He put his arm around him, and sighed. He left Tyson alone in some other place for Jonah. Now, he's trapped in some limbo, and he can't even get Jonah's attention.

Jonah's parents picked him up, and Cyrus followed into the car. Jonah's mom gave him a small lecture on staying safe when he's in public.

Cyrus just stared out the window and they were driving. He felt something on his arm. As he looked down, he noticed... one of the petals of the golden flower had turned red.
