Slowly things started to work out ok. I was busy, but Jen made herself busy with her job, she began to hang out a lot with Jonghyun who we were still living with in the dorms, but I didn't mind at all. Jonghyun was probably the person I was closest to in the group and I found it sweet how he looked after her like a little sister, listened to her like a big sister and teased her like he teased me. She gave him back everything she got and I was impressed that she didn't cower to his teasing.

In November after we had had months of shows, promotions, another come back I was exhausted and if I was honest I was missing my girlfriend. She didn't come to everything any more but she came to most things, however I still didn't have much time with her and I felt some of the security guys we travelled with knew her better than I did.

So, when I had a week free I asked her if she wanted to do something I had always wanted to do.

'Norway?' she repeated to me.

'Yeah, SNOW!' I said excitedly. I always wanted to go to the north pole and I wanted to go with her.

'Snow?' She asked me frowning. She was cooking in the kitchen as I was hovering by the door.

'Yeah, I love snow. I checked with the managers and they said it's ok. I will be working crazy up till Christmas after this. Come on, don't you want to go skiing with me?' I made my way over to her and put my arms around her waist.

'Taemin, get off I'm cooking.' She sighed.

'What's up with you?' I asked her surprised at her tone.

She didn't immediately answer me, telling me something was wrong. She turned off the stove and looked at me, rubbing her eyes.

'I'm just tired,' She mumbled turning back and serving the food onto the plates.

'So, let's go to Norway.' I complained.

'I can't ski' she mumbled half to herself averting her eyes.

I scoffed at her. She turned around shoving the plate of food at me looking annoyed.

I straightened my face when I saw how irritated she looked.

'Come on it doesn't matter if you can't ski, I'll teach you.' We sat down at the table and she raised an eyebrow at me. She was obviously dubious of my expert skiing skills. I wasn't known for being careful.

I put my chop sticks down and reached out for her hand.

'It will be really romantic, there's a cabin we can stay in, it has a glass roof, like sleeping under the stars, and if you hurt yourself skiing, I'll look after you.' I said earnestly kissing her hand.

She succumbed to my begging and smiled up at me at last.

'Ok, let's go to Norway.' She grinned.

'Yahhhhhh!' I cheered. I was happy. I missed her. I wanted this to be a meaningful trip for us and it was a very different kind of vacation from when we met.

She giggled at my childishness and looked at me for a while as I began to eat my way through the food she had made me.

'Why are you staring at me and not eating?' I asked her with a mouth full of food.

'I like your hair black.' She commented taking me completely by surprise.

I had to choke back my laugh before I choked on my food.

'Why did you say that, it's so random' I told her when my mouth was able to move again.

'I just realised I never told you when you changed it. I like it.' She winked.

She began to eat as I sat there and stared at her. She had changed very subtly too over the past month or so. I hadn't noticed it before, but she looked skinnier. She was always slim, but she seemed frail now. I wondered to myself why she had lost so much weight when she didn't need to. But I knew better than to comment on a woman's weight, so I went back to eating.

In no time at all we found ourselves in the first-class cabin on our way to Norway to ski, hopefully see the northern lights and general spend some time together alone.

We managed to avoid being seen together getting on the plane, causing me to drop my guard and when we got off in Norway we made our way through the airport together as a couple. I didn't think any, or many people would notice me in Norway.

We got to the cabins and we were both in awe. They were exactly like ice igloos only made of ice. It was barely 5pm but it was pitch black outside and from the room all you could see was he vast clear sky littered with hundreds of stars. It was magnificent and so romantic.

The bed was in the middle of the room, covered with a lot of heavy fur blankets and bright coloured pillows. There were rugs everywhere and a fire in the corner of the room. On one of the tables was a bottle of champagne and two glasses.

I popped the champagne and poured us the drinks and toasted to us.

'To our skiing holiday' I grinned widely. I was so excited like a child.

'To me falling on my arse while you laugh you mean' she teased.

That night I went to bed like a child on Christmas eve.

The next day I woke up early. The light was still dim filtering through the vast glass roof. Jen was still asleep next to me, jet lag having got the better of her.

'Hey' I nudged her awake and stroked her hair.

'Hmmm' she mumbled, her eyes still closed turning her face away from me.

'Wake up my love,' I whispered nuzzling my face into her neck.

'Let me sleep' she groaned.

I chuckled to myself and wrapped myself around her.

'Come on we need to eat breakfast and then go skiing' I couldn't hide the excitement in my voice.

She turned around and opened her eyes slowly looking deep into mine.

'You are so annoying.' She croaked.

I laughed planting a kiss on her lips and jumping out of the bed heading towards the bathroom to get ready.

An hour and a half later after we had dressed and eaten we were being taken up to the ski resort with an instructor. Jen looked very uncomfortable next to me, but she was being a good sport and attempting to be as excited as I was.

'Now, you haff skied before?' the instructor said to me as I nodded back enthusiastically.

'But you haff not?' he asked Jen who shook her head.

'I vill focus viff you for de morning, don't be so afraid, everyone vill fall' he tried to reassure her. I grinned down at her, as she rolled her eyes for the hundredth time that morning at me.

'It's so beautiful up here' she whispered looking around at the snow-covered pine trees and vast mountain-sides covered with beautiful untouched white snow.

'It is' I replied putting my arm around her. When we reached the top, I stayed close by her while the instructor told her what to do and helped her get into a stride. She did fall down, a lot, a lot more than I did when I first went skiing, but I tried my best not to laugh too much not wanting her to have a bad experience of skiing.

Eventually she got into a stride and it was just as much fun as I anticipated it to be.

At lunch time, we went to the lodge and got hot chocolate to warm ourselves up.

Our noses were burnt from the winter snow, but she looked so cute and she was just as exhilarated as I had been when I first discovered skiing. Once you got it you loved it.

That night we went to bed fairly early. Our bodies exhausted and hers a little bruised from falling down a lot.

It was nice laying in the igloo bed though falling asleep under the stars with my love in my arms. I couldn't have been any happier than I was in that moment.
