I woke up awkwardly the next morning. My phone was beeping somewhere but I had no idea where it was. I sat up rubbing my eyes, and felt the weight of my anger from the night seep back into me.

I got up looking around for my phone and went to make coffee. As it was brewing I checked the messages on my phone.

Jonghyun, Key, Minho, Jinki, Jongin, Jen. Every one of them had left me a message or several.

Jonghyun had left the most asking how my night went, how surprising Jen went and then teasing me because I hadn't answered anything how it 'must have been a good night, wink wink.'

I felt sick as I read through the other messages. I was hesitant as I looked at the message from Jen.

J: Have a safe flight back today. I can't wait to see you. I don't want to fight. Xxx

I started to feel guilty reading it, and my anger subsided. She did miss me. She didn't want to break up with me.

I drank my coffee and started to feel a bit better. I bitterly regretted throwing the flowers I bought last night away knowing I would buy some more again.

I decided to not waste the day moping around so I got a shower, got dressed and went to get more flowers before I found myself in front of her door again.

I felt the same excitement as I did last night, but it was mixed with the same sinking feeling I felt when I overheard her conversation. I decided to knock at the door instead of letting myself in.

I waited patiently on the door step until I could hear footsteps approaching and the door unlocking.

I stood there with the roses in my hand and a shy smile on my face.

Jen answered the door looking as beautiful as ever and after it registered that it was me standing there she squealed and smiled.

'What is this??' she asked excitedly.

I put my free arm around her and pulled her in for a hug and a kiss before handing over the flowers.

'It's our Valentine's day.' I said proudly feeling a lot better that I had successfully surprised her.

'Oh my god, Tae these are beautiful,' she said taking them from me, and taking my hand with her free hand, leading me into the apartment.

I decided not to mention I had over heard her last night, I didn't want to fight with her either after the message she sent me this morning.

'You're here so early, I thought your flight wasn't until later on.' She said running around putting the flowers in a vase.

'I took an earlier flight to be with you.' I said vaguely.

She looked over at me over her shoulder and smiled shyly. When the roses where in the vase she came over to where I was stood awkwardly and put her arms around my neck, looking up at me, she was smiling.

'I did miss you a lot.' She whispered. 'I'm sorry I've been grumpy on the phone with you.' She pouted cutely.

My anger dissolved instantly. I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my face into the crook of her neck.

'I missed you too.' I whispered back.

We broke apart after a few minutes in silence. 'Are you hungry? Did you eat breakfast?' she asked me.

'No, I forgot.' I told her sitting down at the table feeling considerably lighter than I had before.

'Ok, pancakes?' she asked cocking her eyebrow up and smirking.

'I can't resist your pancakes.' I told her smiling widely.

She began to busy herself in the kitchen making breakfast for us.

'Where's Sarah?' I asked, pretending I didn't know.

'Oh!' she squealed. 'I almost forgot to tell you, Kyungsoo asked her to go and meet them in LA. He sent her tickets and was like 'By the time you get there, we'll be there, so you can see us perform' You know because she's never seen them before. It was so cute, she was super excited. He was like 'I just want to say thank you for the pictures.'' Jen rolled her eyes.

I laughed. 'That's sweet.' I told her.

'Yeah, apparently, he punches them all really hard when they make fun of her, or him. Harder than usual' she added.

'Did she tell you that?' I asked.

'No Chanyeol told me. I spoke to him yesterday to make sure she got there safely. She wasn't answering her phone to me.' She told me with her back to me, whisking up the batter for the pancakes.

That was why she called him then, I vaguely remember hearing her say she was checking on Sarah when I overheard her, but now it makes sense why she hadn't called Sarah directly.

I didn't realise I hadn't answered her when she said 'Taemin? Are you ok?'

'Yeah yeah I'm ok.' I said putting on a fake smile. She frowned at me slightly.

'You're still worried about Chan.' She said.

'No.' I said quietly.

'Babe, it's ok, but we're just friends you know. Like me and Jonghyun, or me and Key.'

'Yeah but Jonghyun and Key never tried to kiss you.' I blurted out.

She frowned at me again, deeper this time.

'No, I suppose not.' She sighed, she obviously didn't want to continue to talk about it.

'So, Sarah and Soo. It's weird that's working out.' I said trying to change the subject back.

'Yeah I know. It's like something from a badly written fan fiction story.' She said sarcastically.

I laughed. 'Yeah, I've read some bad ones.'

'Oh yeah you read them?' She asked me surprised.

'Yeah, well not so much anymore, when I was younger I used too. Some were entertaining, some were down right terrifying.' I told her, glad the mood had picked up again.

She laughed. 'I can imagine the terrifying ones.'

We sat down and ate breakfast together, having by passed the Chanyeol situation successfully.

After breakfast, she asked me 'So what do you want to do today?'

I had a plan but wasn't sure how she was going to take it.

'Ok, so I have an idea, if you want to try it.' I told her.

She looked at me intrigued telling me to continue.

'I want to teach you to dance.'

'What?' she asked confusion on her face.

'Ok hear me out. I know it's weird. But you always tell me you wish you could dance like me, you're not a bad dancer, and there's things you can do to help you. So I rented a studio for us, and I have someone I want you to meet, after if you want.'

She laughed at me. 'This was your Valentine's idea?'

I felt dejected again. 'You don't like it?'

'Nooooo! I love the idea. It's so much better than too romantic or some dinner, we have dinner all the time. I love that this is something I will be able to know forever, but isn't it boring for you?'

I smiled at her enthusiasm, but I was confused. 'Why would it be boring for me?' I asked her.

'Because you dance all the time, and I'm a slow learner, you might get annoyed with me.'

'No, I won't I think it will be nice. Plus remember the time we danced after you broke your arm. I felt like we were closer then.' I mumbled the last part, I was embarrassed.

She came and sat on my knee, stroking the hair out my eyes. 'I love it, when are we going?'

'Now?'
