Chapter 25

Forth POV

Beam and I finally reconcile. Our relationship gets better even though he is busy with his classes and internship. Yes, he has to 'work' in a hospital in Bangkok since two weeks ago. It was so sudden because he initially told me that his internship would start early next month, but it is three weeks earlier. I can't say anything because it was his professor decision. Luckily, his duty in the hospital doesn't take much time like I expected. Beam should be there in the morning until 4 PM, then attend evening class until 8. I, who is free like a bird, doesn't have specific activity to be done. Like now, I'm sitting in the cafeteria alone since the class was dismissed earlier. The bastards, Lam and Sharp, were not helpful. They disappeared as soon as our lecturer went out. I bet they are in their girlfriend's dorm or faculty. Geez.. those guys can't live without their girls.

Well.. me too actually. I can't live without Beam.

"Afternoon P'Forth." Ming suddenly sits in front of me while widely smiling. He shows his with teeth which matches with today's weather, Sunny.

"Oi.. Afternoon, Ming. You don't have class?"

"It finished an hour ago. I just went back from library for my project next Tuesday. How about you, P? I heard that you don't have many classes since you only have final project and internship, right?" Ming takes a seat in front of me. He brings three thick books which I had read last year. Those books are the best lullaby.

"Yeah.. I only have three classes remaining. My internship starts next month."

"Wuahh... I'm jealous. Yet, I have two additional courses since I failed in the midterm tests." Ming scratches his head. I know that this boy isn't that stupid. So why did he fail in the test?Probably because of the course.

"Don't say it. Not having activity is frustrating, to add that Beam is not here."

"Ahahahaahaha... be patient, P'Forth. It is only temporary. Hang in there for two months. Don't break up again, okay? Ahahahahaha" Ming laughs until he is in tears

"Shit, Ming! If you just want to tease me, get lost!"

"Ouch... P'Forth... don't get mad easily. You are like P'Beam if you get angry whenever I talk ahahhahaaa," I hit his head to stop him laughing.

Shit this boy. He doesn't want to be alive, I guess.

He keeps silent for a few minutes until he says, "P'... do you think me and P'Kitkat will be last long?"

I raise my eyebrow because of a sudden mood change. Why does he ask that kind of question?

"Do you have problem with Ai'Kit, Ming?" I ask him back.

"No.. noo... we are fine. It just... I wonder.... knowing you and P'Beam almost broke up makes me think about my Kitkat. You know that I'm not that good for P'Kitkat...I mean.... I know I'm handsome, but I'm kind of blurred and insensitive while P'Kitkat is the other way around. I'm afraid that I can't catch him up. He is in his last year of college, and will be a doctor soon. However, I myself still feel confused about my future. I lose my confidence right now,"

"Hei... it isn't like you, Ming. You are the most optimistic person I've ever met. Why suddenly you sound hopeless. About you and Kit, I believe he likes very much although he never shows his feeling clearly. I've known him since first year even though we are not close, but I guarantee it. Don't worry about this matter. I'm sure you will find your way to catch your Kitkat up."

Speak of the devil.

I see two guys from Faculty of Medicine walking toward our table, Pha and Kit. They greet me as usual. Pha taps Ming shoulder and gives him a notebook from Wayo. It seems like Ming asks Yo to help him about something which Kit doesn't know. The short guy seems upset because he ignores Ming.

"Beam isn't with you guys?" I try to find my wife, hoping that he is left behind. I know that my question has its answer already, but Pha understands my feeling,

"He needs to report to professor first. He will be here soon, Forth. We are glad that we get free time today from the hospital because the faculty sent notice about the final project." Pha explains. He really concerns about my relationship with Beam since we got into a fight. He doesn't want his best friend to be hurt. I'm glad that Beam has a friend like Pha. When the first time I met him, I've got the feeling that Phana is smart and reliable. I was happy when he became the moon instead of me, who only got the second place. He really deserved the title.

However, I never expect that Phana would be in love with Nong'Yo. He is surrounded by many girls, but he chooses Yo instead. I can't deny that Yo is cute and cheerful, but to think that he dates a cold-face Phana, is very shocking. Well... Pha is cold to anyone, but Yo. He is just a big bear in front of Nong Yo.

"Kit... stop showing your sulking face in front of your boyfriend. I'm hungry right now, so don't make me lose my appetite. You said that you miss Nong Ming so much because yesterday you had to finish your report and cancel your date." Pha talks while walking to food counter. Kit's face turn red as well as his ears. He even curses at Pha because that guy revealed his secret.

"Really, Kitkat? Do you miss me?" Ming move his body closer to Kit's. Kit becomes speechless. He only looks at his phone while sometimes takes a glance to Ming.

What a cute couple.

Pha comes back, and bring a bowl of noodle. He eats it fast he could as if there will be someone steal it from him.

"Sawadee...." I hear a voice which can  increase my testosterone level abruptly. It's Beam.

"Oh you come?!" Pha nods his head while drinking his pink milk.

As soon as he is standing near me, I pull Beam to my side. I make him sit down as closer as possible. "Have you eaten? Wanna eat something?" I hug his shoulder. He still smells good even though he is full of sweat.

"No need. I have eaten. How about you? Don't you order something? Hey... you drink coffee again?" Beam starts nagging, but I'm not complaining because he cares about me.

"I have finished my lunch before." I pinch his chubby  cheek to avoid our discussion about coffee. Beam seems hated on my addiction toward coffee. He doesn't forbid me to drink it, but he warns me to drink it once a day, not more.

"Don't drink too much coffee." Beam whispers in my ear.

"So... can I drink something else, then?! probably...... you?" Beam's face turns red this time too since he gets what I meant.
