I froze in my spot as Scott's words ring in my ears, "What?" I squeak out. My heart dropping to my stomach, my knees getting weak, my hands getting clammy as I blinked away the tears in my eyes. "You're lying!" I yell at Scott in protest.

Stiles steps back as my eyes glow, my control getting out of hand. I felt as if the whole world, no the whole galaxy has been dropped on top of me. "No, no, no, you're lying." I walked towards Scott and punched his chest, earning a groan.

"You're lying, Derek cannot be dead." I said, flailing my arms around. Scott's and Stiles' arm wrap around my torso, not letting me run out the classroom. I feel as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest, causing me to feel pain all in and above my abdomen. I dropped to my knees, Scott and Stiles coming down with me.

"I'm sorry, Hal. The alpha got him before we could even blink." Stiles explained, his voice full of worry. Anger flared through me at the thought of the alpha harming any more of my friends.

"Then what the hell are we still doing here?!" I rushed out, standing up and wiping my face. "We need to leave." I said, grabbing my things and rushing out the door.

"Wait, Hallie." Scott warned.

"Do you hear that?" I asked, the faint ringing of a cell phone reaches my ears. My arms were straight out, stopping Stiles and Scott from walking any further.

"Hear what?" Stiles asked, waving his arms around.

"It sounds like a phone ringing." Scott informed him. "I know that ring. It's Allison's phone." I internally groan at the thought of Scott and Allison being all lovey dovey the moment they meet up.

"Hey. I can't seem to find them." Allison answered her phone, going silent as Lydia's murmur rang through the speaker. "Okay, give me a second and I'll be right there." As soon as she hung up, Stiles pulled out his phone and called her.

"Stiles?"

"Not, it's me, where are you?" Scott asked.

"I'm in the school looking for you, why weren't you at my place?" Allison argued.

"Where are you right now?"

"On the first floor."

"Where? Where are you exactly?" He asked once more.

"The swimming pools."

"Get to the lobby. Go now."

"Okay, okay, I'm coming." We hung up and rushed down to the main office beside the lobby. We busted through the doors simultaneously as Allison did on the opposite side. We ran to middle, following Scott's lead as he grabbed Allison's wrist.

"Why did you come? What are you doing here?" He asked. If I didn't know better, I'd thought he would've invited her, but with The Alpha here, I doubt it now. I flinched at my own conscious when I thought about The Alpha. I squeezed my eyes shut as I tried to rid the thoughts of this living nightmare.

I felt a hand grab and squeeze it as I open my eyes, catching Stiles worried ones focusing on my face. "You okay?" He mouthed.

I gave him a reassuring smile and turned back to the couple who were having a small conversation. "Did you drive here?" Scott said as I tuned in their voices.

"Jackson did."

"Jackson's here too?" I groaned out, the same time as Scott who had worry in his voice.

"And Lydia, what's going on? Who sent this text?" Allison questioned, holding her phone up. I didn't get to see the text since Lydia's name popped up on the screen. "Where are you?" She answered before the two devils walked straight through the door.
