I wrapped my arms tighter around my pillow, but the scent wasn't what frightened me, it was the fact that is pulled me closer towards itself. My eyes widened as I took in the sight in front of me, Derek Hale was shirtless in my bed. I yelped before shoving him out of my bed as a reflex.

He jolted awake with a slight groan as he rubbed his side from the floor. "Sorry, just a reflex." I lied, knowing fair well he could tell I was lying to his face. "Um, how did you get in my bed last night? I don't exactly remember anything after out chit chat at your house." I admitted.

"Well, I brought you home and carried you inside and when I went to leave you said stay and grabbed my wrist," he trailed off, standing up and grabbing his shirt.

"And the shirts off why?" I asked, trying to tear my gaze away from his toned body. I coughed, looking away and hearing footsteps coming down the hall. I turned and went wide-eyed as he panicked. "Closet." I said, only loud enough for him to hear.

He ran to the closet and slid inside, I shut it and walked over to my dresser as my mom burst through the door. "Hal, are you okay? I heard a shout come from up here." She said, checking me over for any harm done.

"Mom, I'm fine, I fell out of bed this morning. And you're awfully late for coming up to check on me." I added. She only laughed before shoving me aside, walking over to the door.

"Well, maybe that's because I was trying not to burn your chocolate chip pancakes." She said before slipping through the doorway. My jaw dropped at the fact that she chose to save food over me.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." Derek smirked, pushing my chin up. I glared at him before softening up. "I have to go, keep an eye on your brother will ya? I'll be watching from the distance but I can't do much from there." He said, giving my shoulder a squeeze before disappearing through the door.

I stared at him as he ran across the street to his parked car before waving at me with a smirk before driving off. I laughed to myself before spinning around, jumping a foot in the air as I spotted a very angered Scott McCall standing in my way.

"You're sleeping with the enemy now! What the actual hell Hal?" He started.

"No, you don't get to do this to me, we didn't do anything. I swear, I wouldn't do that to you. He's not even the enemy Scott." I shouted back at him. "You don't even know what he has been through, you don't know that pain he goes through everyday and the amount you're adding onto it with you being rude to him just makes it worse." I said, getting fed up with his attitude with Derek.

They don't even know each other and Scott's already judging him and crap. "It doesn't matter if he's the enemy or not, he is not fit for you." He said, his anger showing in his eyes.

"Oh then what the hell is fit for me, Scott? Why don't you tell me what is fit for me, because I sure as hell don't know what is fit for my own life!" I yelled fed up with his attitude. What the hell was so wrong with him, lately. I didn't even like Derek like that.
