After watching the power line snap, we followed it to ground level where the Hospital was starting to evacuate. An ambulance pulled in, heading straight to the doors, but swerved as the power line hit the front of the van.

If I saw correctly, Kira was also down there, her hands up as she tried not to get hit by the electricity. My eyes widen as the ambulance ran over a fire hydrant, causing water to flow all over the parking lot.

The power line falls to the ground, the water catching up to it, causing a bad feeling in my stomach. The three of us watch the driver of the ambulance step out, causing him to get electrocuted.

Another car pulls up and it holds Allison and Isaac in it before the step out as Kira hopelessly yells at everyone to get back. Before I have any time to process, Isaac steps in the water, causing my body to convulse from the electricity that's currently hurting him.

I drop to my knees as I try to block out the pain. It becomes bearable, but I have to lean against Derek who's currently crouched behind me.

I wanna scream at Kira who has a car coming right at her, but I'm speechless as she runs up the car and down a backflip off into the water. My eyebrows raise as I watch her stand in the water, completely unharmed. She grabs the power cord and covers the end with her hand.

I watch in amazement as her eyes turn orange as she sucks up the electricity, causing the pain shooting through Isaac to come to a minimum on my end. I stand up with a groan, before turning to look at Isaac who lays on the ground motionless.

And suddenly, I can't feel him breathing.

"He's not breathing!" I yell as I run over to the boy that's like a brother to me.

"Scott, he's not breathing!"

The next morning, I'm getting ready for school, my thoughts heavy as I recall Isaac getting rushed into the hospital with burns all over his body.

I dress into black, ripped skinny jeans, a white cami and my leather jacket. I slide on my combat boots and look at my reflection. My brown hair falls down my back in waves, reaching the top of my butt, my brown eyes hold bags underneath that were covered with a layer of makeup.

My neck held a painful reminder that Isaac isn't healing, and my heart, it held the pain that everyone was currently feeling.

After spraying perfume on and grabbing my bag, I make my way downstairs with Scott just behind me. We stop in the kitchen, finding our mother at the dining table staring off into space.

"Any news?"

"They're still looking for him,"

I forgot the most important thing. Stiles went missing while everything was happening. Stiles is the nogitsune. He's the one that caused the power line to snap. The nogitsune is the reason why three people including Isaac are in the hospital.

"It's past the 48-hour mark, but I guess if anyone's going to be missing for two days and turn up just find, it's Stiles," She leaned back in her seat.

"What about Isaac?" I mutter, afraid for the werewolf.

Our mother stands up, "Maybe we should go by the hospital before school,"

Scott and I climb onto our bikes as our mom climbs into her car, leading the way to the hospital.

We ride the elevator up to the third floor, finding Allison asleep in the waiting area. Scott lightly shakes her awake, "Have you been here all night?"

"Yeah," She nods her head, "they won't let me see him 'cause I'm not family. I told them he doesn't have any,"

I nod in agreement before turning to my mom.
