“I think I’m pregnant…” Jessica said, while helping me pack. We just finished packing all her things. The kids were with Derrick for this week. They went over their yesterday and I already missed my babies. I dropped the box I was holding, looking at her.

“What the hell do you mean you think?” I raised my eyebrows.

She smiled, “I’m seven days late and I really hope I am.” I hugged her tightly, congratulating her and finished packing.

“So, are you crazies going to come by and see my apartment?” I called my mom on the phone after I finished unpacking.

“Yes, baby girl. Erin, her baby, and boyfriend are coming with me and your father.” She stated.

“Sweet, I love you mom and I’ll see you when you get here.” I waited for her to reply and hung the phone up.

“Babe, what the hell do you have to eat?” Brandon questioned, looking in my refrigerator.

“Get your ass out of my refrigerator and go eat your own damn food,” I said playfully.

“Nope, I’m moving in over here.” He replied, winking. I hope he is kidding because Jenny is not ready for all that. “I’m kidding, now come sit next to Papa,” He patted his leg, motioning for me to sit down.

Walking towards him and sitting down, I said, “You’re so weird.”

“I know,” He smiled his ear to ear grin, before tickling me.

“You know what happened last time this happened.” I said between each laugh. “Stop!” I giggled. A thought came to my mind. I kissed him off guard and pulled away leaving him dazed.

I slid out from under him and laughed at how he just stayed there. “You tease.” He pouted.

“Never said I wasn’t,” I winked, walking towards my room to get changed. I heard footsteps behind me and saw Brandon running towards me. He tackled me on to the bed, kissing me hard.

I knew where this was going, “Stop. For one, we are taking it slow and two, my family is coming over.”

He reluctantly got off me, “Sorry.” He sat on my bed, reading a magazine beside the bed. “Girls and their damn gossiping magazines,” He said, throwing it on the night stand.

“Oh shut up, tit bag.” I laughed.

“Tit bag? Oh really?” He questioned arching his eyebrows.

“Yes, I have many names where that came from.” I replied, pulling over a t-shirt.

“Cynthia’s grandma is about to come pick some clothes up for her to stay the night,” He said looking at the time on his phone. I nodded my head, helping him get off my bed. “Date tomorrow?” He questioned.

“Si, sexy boy.” I winked, playfully. He kissed me on the lips softly, before walking away. What the hell is this kid doing to me? I thought to myself.

I heard a knock on the door, thinking it’s my family, I opened it. “Three dozen roses for Jennifer King.” A flower guy said.

“That’s me… But who is this from?” I asked, confused.

“I believe there is a card in there somewhere, miss. Whoever sent them must really love you; it was $250 for it all and $20 for sending them.” My jaw dropped to the floor.

“Well thank you,” I said closing the door. Taking at the card out, I read it aloud.

I’m not giving up. I love you and our family too much to just give up so easily.
