[Kathryn's POV]
{after the big fight with Harvey}

I pounded on Ali and I's bedroom door.

Max had a mellow expression until he saw me.

"Woah..Kathryn, what the heck happened?!" He asked, touching my arm.

"I just need sleep. Please..go away.." I said running into Ali and I's bathroom.

I couldn't bear the weight of Harvey hating me.

I thought we could be friends.

Why was he so...him?!

I mean come on. The one second he's an actual normal person, he realizes he's being normal then he goes and is a huge jerk again.

In the bathroom I just listened.

I just waited for them to both leave.

"Wanna go check on harvey with me?" Max asked to Ali quietly.

"Yeah..lets make it quick. I don't trust Kathryn by herself for too long..ever," Ali replied.

I heard the door open and close a few seconds later.

I walked into the bedroom and stood there silently.

I just stood there.

I didn't even think, I just stared at the wall.

After a few minutes of solid staring at a pale blue wall, I attempted sleep, knowing that Harvey actually hated me. wow.

[Max's POV]
{downstairs}

"Harvey? Where are you?" I yelled, pacing around the house.

"Found him," Ali said, standing outside the bathroom door.

I went over and knocked softly.

"Harvey, i know something's up. Just talk to me about it, you've got nothing to lose."

Ali wished me good luck and headed back to check on Kathryn.

The door unlocked and i stepped in, closing it back and locking it.

"What's going on?" I asked, looking at him.

He told me the WHOLE story. not just parts, the whole entire thing.

"One question," i said after he'd finished his book of a story.

He nodded.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS IF YOU LIKE HER. IT MAKES NO SENSE," i whisper-yelled to him.

He dragged his hands through his hair, looking at me. "I-I don't know ok?! I don't want to like her, but it's like i have to. And i don't want to be a foolish, rude boy either, but every time her eyes meet mine and i realize i'm being a normal person towards her, something compels me to be a jerk!"

Wow. He'd finally said it.

I clapped. "Well done harvey. Well done. You've just won a house full of people who think you're a huge jerk," i said harshly.

He looked hurt, like he wasn't expecting me to speak the truth.

"You need to clean up your own mess ok? Because i'm certainly not going to for you. Kathryn is way more hurt than you are right now. You've messed this up and it's only been the first day of two months harvey."

"No. I can't. i've already done everything i could to get her to hate me and she does. So she'll never forgive or show kindness towards me now Max." he said, obviously giving up.

i rolled my eyes and looked at him.

"Just try. because lately, you haven't tried at all," i replied, opening the door and walking out.

i walked up the stairs to hear Ali talking to Kathryn.

"At least max is nice.." Ali said.

"Well we're stuck with a nice, sweet guy and a freaking biker gang member so just go to sleep ali. it's only been 1 day and we have almost 2 months ok?" kathryn shot back, her voice groggy and annoyed.

woah. harvey's gonna get it.

i proceeded to my room and lay in bed.

harvey's already ruined 2 months that was supposed to be a break from life. great.
