{Kathryn's pov}
[at the mills']

Mrs. Mills introduced herself while the car ride lasted, and she seemed amazing.

Max was super sweet too, and Leo and Tilly were adorable.

Harvey just had to be that one person trying to ruin everything.

In the car, his smart remarks always followed when we said something. It got old really fast.

Ali kept looking at me and rolling her eyes every time he opened his mouth.

I honestly fought not to snap at him.

"Max, Harvey, go help the girls get settled in their room," mrs. mills said, unlocking the door.

"Got it," max said energetically. Harvey didn't reply to his mums request, he just led us all up the stairs.

Once we Ali and I reached our room, Harvey walked down the hallway and slammed a door.

Max stayed and talked to us for a bit, both entertaining us and telling us about his life.

He joked around and told us about himself. As it turns out, he and harvey are famous singers and are popular at school.

I doubted this when he first told me, but I soon realized it was true. Why would he lie about it?

Max apologized for Harvey's behavior too.

"I'm really sorry about him. He's stressed out right now and is freaking out that you guys are pretty and sweet.." max said smiling a bit.

"Aww thank you," Ali replied, blushing a little.

Oh no. Blushing? ALI. WHY.

I nodded. "Thanks Max," I said with a small smile.

"No problem. I'm going to go check on him now so I'll see you at dinner. Bye," he said waving and walking down the hallway.

We nodded and got to unpacking.

Ali and I were in the same room and were totally fine with it. We'd had many sleepovers before, so it was nothing new to us.

Ali and I sat on the bed and talked for a while until dinner was ready.

"Kids, Dinner's done!" mrs. mills shouted up the stairs.

"Yes yes yes yes!" I heard as Leo and Tilly whisper as they passed our room.

Ali and I turned to each other and fell onto the bed laughing.

After a few minutes, I looked at the doorway and saw Harvey standing outside of it smiling.

As soon as he saw me noticing him, he turned away and quickly went downstairs.

"Was that Harvey?" Ali asked, confused.

I nodded.

"I wonder what that was about," I said looking at her.

"Yeah...beat you downstairs!" Ali said, rushing downstairs.
