[ kathryn's pov (yes, again) ]
later that evening

"kathryn? have you seen my bracelet max got me? oh, and my left shoe?" ali asked, running around frantically and throwing things all over the place in panic.

"here," i said handing her the bracelet and shoe all at once.

"thanks!" she said, putting on the shoe and snapping the bracelet altogether.

"do i look okay?" she asked, looking at me.

"you look amazing ali!" i replied with a smile.

"what about me?" i said, standing up and twirling. "you look gorgeous!" ali replied, giving me a hug.

"thank you!" i said hugging back.

"girls are you ready to..wow.." max suddenly said, standing in the doorway. we turned to him and stood side by side as he stopped. ali blushed a little and nervously tucked a strand of straightened hair behind her ear.

"ali you look...amazing.." max said with a smile. "and-and kathryn..you're-" he started to say before harvey walked next to him and finished his sentence.

"absolutely beautiful," harvey finished. i smiled happily and walked over to him, giving a hug to him.

max couldn't keep his eyes off ali. she hugged him.

"you're cute," i heard her say. he chuckled a little.

"you look great," i said to harvey. "thank you, thank you," he said with a bow.

i laughed.

"are you guys ready?"max asked us. i turned around and saw he and ali holding hands. i nodded and smiled along with harvey.

harvey led us all out the door and we got into mrs. mills' car. of course, mrs. mills' was driving us. i forgot.

"hey girls! you look beautiful!" she said as ali and i got in. harvey was in the front passenger seat, i was on the right side, ali was in the middle, and max was on the left of her.

"thank you!" i replied with a smile. ali smiled sweetly.

"be careful!" mrs. mills called after us as we walked towards the house's front door.

"okay mum!" harvey called back as max waved to her once more.

"by the way, we're walking home," max told ali and i. harvey nodded. "is that okay?" harvey asked us. we nodded and smiled.

harvey and i walked inside, our hands intertwined together, as ali and max stayed outside to talk to people.

the door was open and people were both inside and outside. this was my first ever teen party.

"ayeee harveyyy!" a tall blonde boy came up and did this weird handshake thing with harvey. "and who's this?" he asked, suddenly so very interested in me.

harvey grabbed my hand and smiled. this is too good.

"this is kathryn. she's one of the students from california. kathryn, this is ethan." harvey said, looking at both of us.

ethan laughed and smiled at harvey and i. "so you two are together?" he asked us.

i just looked at harvey with a smile. he smiled at me then nodded at ethan. "we are," he said happily.

"let's see how long that lasts," ethan said walking off and laughing. he was obviously joking, but what if harvey's actually like that? what if he's a player?

"ignore him," harvey said. i nodded.

"want something to drink?" he asked. i nodded again and smiled. "okay, i'll be right back," he replied to my nod. "okay," i replied to him. he walked off.

just a few seconds after he left, three girls pranced up to me. they definitely weren't from my school so i guessed they were housing someone.

"hi!" a girl about my height said to me. she was in the middle of the other two. she had thin brown hair that was the same color as her eyes, caked on makeup, and a super short skirt (way too short) on with hot pink crop top that went just under her boobs that was cut out in MANY different places.
wow. ew.

"hey," i replied with a smile. be nice kathryn, be nice.

"i'm ashley!" she said laughing hysterically. she's drunk. great.

"my name's kathryn," i smiled back.

"i'm jess," the girl to her left said with a weird grin. she was shorter than ashley by a few inches, as was the girl to ashley's right.

jess had on a black crop top similar to ashley's and an olive green mini skirt like hers. mini ashley, got it.   her hair was a faint orange color. she wasn't a full on red-head, but she did have red hair. her makeup was very smoky and dark looking.

i smiled at her and nodded. "nice to meet you jess," i sweetly said. the girl to ashley's right wasn't even paying attention. she was drooling over a tall brown haired guy near us. she was scandalously biting her fingernails.

ashley then noticed she hadn't said anything so she elbowed her.

"ow!" she said, looking at ashley. ashley motioned her head towards me and the girl looked at me.

"oh! i'm sorry! i'm-im dani," she said, patting my hand. what the heck. they were all drunk. how old are these people?

dani had on what seemed to be just a cream colored bralette with a light pink colored mini skirt to match ashley and jess'. these people, i swear. she had longer, darker brown hair than ashley's with very bright and heavy makeup on. she also had on huge silver-hooped earrings and a bulky silver necklace around her neck. her eyes were a light brown with a hint of darker brown in a few places.

i nodded and smiled. "i'm kathryn," i said back.

"we wanted to know if you'd like to hang out with us," ashley suddenly blurted out suddenly.

"well i-" i was cut off by jess' laughter.

"yayyy! come onnn!" she said while literally dragging me by my wrist down some stairs where tons of other people were. they all looked like sluts and players. yay.

"time for... spin the bottleee!" a drunken ashley says, placing the bottle down and forcing me to sit in a circle in between she and jess. dani was on the other side of ashley.

"who's first?" some random guy shouted from the circle.

"kathrynnn!" ashley and jess say, pointing to me.

"but i have a boyfriend," i protest, nervously. "omg who?" jess said, obviously interested. she and ashley leaned in so i could whisper it.

"harvey mills," i told them. they suddenly had hate in their eyes. uh oh.

"just spin the freaking bottle!" ashley exclaimed.

i nodded, both nervous and scared, looked at the bottle for a second, then began that nightmare.
