"Are you sure you know what you're doing harvey?" Kathryn asked as Harvey measured amounts of flour in a measuring cup.

"Almost exactly positive," he replied, flashing a short, nervous smile.

Kathryn rolled her eyes and smiled at him.

He just kept measuring, ignoring her smile.

Wrong move Harvey.

Kathryn raised an eyebrow and walked and sat down beside me on the couch, annoyed. Again.

I looked and saw Harvey watching her walk away.

He looked annoyed too.

Just great.

Max started pouring sugar in the mixing bowl as Harvey cracked the eggs into the bowl.

I thought it was fairly funny how max and harvey were complete opposites.

I mean, I get that no one's the same person, but they were just different in every way possible.

Kathryn looked at me and whispered," come upstairs with me for a second."

I nodded and followed her up the stairs.

"Kathryn? Ali? Where are you guys going?" Max called after us, confused.

"Um.." I started, freezing in place.

"We-we need to talk," Kathryn finished for me, smiling at max.

He nodded and went back to workin on the cake we were making.

We continued to our room.

"Thanks," I whispered to Kathryn.

"No problem," she replied.

We got to our room and locked the door so that the boys couldn't burst through it like we did to them.

Ahhh...memories.

"So what's up?" I asked, sitting down beside her on the bed.

She sighed and spoke.

"It's just that every time harvey and I become a little closer as friends, a switch turns on in his brain that's saying: it's kathryn. Remember? You're supposed to hate her."

It did seem like that.

It seemed as if when they were having a nice moment, his mind takes over and says to be rude.

She continued," I mean, max is the sweetest person I've ever met. Why are they complete opposites?"

I shrugged.

"Maybe he's just had a rough time dealing with girls before. You honestly never know," I replied.

She nodded.
