4~ ukulele

I couldn't sleep. All I could think about was Tyler and Jenna. They are going to be my parents. I sat up in my bed and look at the clock it reads 3:47 . I decide it wasn't worth sleeping, figuring the rest of the night we be staring at the wall. I get out of the bunk, making sure not to wake anyone. I sneak out to and head down the stairs, almost tripping in the dark. I head to the "living room" and sit on the ground. I look over and see an instrument. It was a 4 stringed guitar looking instrument but was smaller than a normal one. There was a note on it that read:
To Crystal,
I don't know if you will get this or not and if another girl will try to take it. It's a ukulele I got you, decided you will need something to do for the ride to your new home. Enjoy. Jenna and I can't wait to see you later today,

I couldn't believe my eyes, I grabbed the ukulele and ran my hands through the intricate design. This made me want to leave even more, I couldn't wait to stay with my new family. I got up and brought the instrument with me, went back to the bedroom and hopped back to the top bunk where I slept. I held the instrument tight as I fall back asleep.

I wake up shortly after, the ukulele still in my hand. I got up to see that most people were sleeping. I hid the ukulele in my blankets while getting the rest of my stuff in my bags. I looked at the clock it read 8:28 Tyler and Jenna weren't going to be here till noon. I run to the bathroom, take a shower, and get ready before anyone saw me. I  go back to my bunk and hold my ukulele tight and quickly run to find Erica. I find her sitting in the living room reading.

"Hey..Erica?"
"Yes crystal?"
"Do you know how to play a ukulele?"
She smiled and nodded her head. I sit down next to her as she begins to show me some basic chords and the beginning to Screen by twenty one pilots. Even though Erica works at the orphanage, she was the only friend I ever had, she is like a sister to me. After about 3 hours I finally get the song down and get my bags to wait for them to arrive. I skip breakfast because I'm not hungry. I'm wearing my twentyonepilots sweatshirt and ripped jeans with my brown hair in a French braid. I sit patiently for their arrival while practicing Screen.

"They are here!" Erica yells I jump out of my seat in excitement, and start to cry again. As they open the door I see Tyler wearing black skinny jeans and a white tee shirt while Jenna has on a yellow dress that goes to her knees.
"Hey crystal! " Jenna says giving my a hug
"Nice to see y....." before he could finish I run to his arms and give him a hug
Jenna and Tyler grab my stuff and I hold on to my ukulele. Tyler notices and smiles
"So have you learned anything yet on it?"
"Well sorta..I'm learning Screen"
"Ooh" Tyler starts "I can help you with that"
I smile and get into the back seat of the car. I fall asleep until I get woken up by Jenna.
"Crystal wake up we are home"
