17~ opener

The rest of the night everyone kept asking what was wrong but Tyler. He already knew what happened and didn't want to ask because he knows how I would react. After a few hours everyone gave up and left me alone. That was because everyone fell asleep.

Or so I thought.

I carefully got out of my bunk and made it to the front of the bus. I opened the fridge and got out and apple and began to eat it. I turn around to see Tyler standing behind me.

"Wanna talk?"

I nodded and we both sat down on a couch. He began to talk as a finished my Apple.

"Was it neo again?"

I nod, "they aren't leaving Tyler! No matter how hard I try, neo wont leave"

tyler sighed at hearing the defeat in my voice, "The sad thing is crystal he might never leave, with Blurryface.." Tyler cringed at hearing himself say it's name, "I learned to cover him up. He's still there just not controlling me as much as he used to. I try distracting myself whenever he comes along. That's why being in a band helps all the places we go and the music we play just all helps."

I totally forgot I'm playing in less than 24 hours. Tyler notices the look on my face.

"Don't be scared about playing, it's hard at first but it will gradually get better okay? Do you have all the songs picked out?"

I nod and show him the list I have saved on my phone. He begins to laugh, "so since we don't play these songs you are going to cover them?"

"Yes, everyone should know these and I know them as well"

He point to one specific one on there "you didn't just put Taco Bell saga on here"

I began to laugh even more "it's funny Tyler everyone loves it I could of put coconut sharks in the water on there of you don't want this on...."

"Fine you can keep it"

We both start laughing quietly, trying not to wake anyone else up. We talked for about an hour till I start to get tired again. "I'm going to sleep Tyler night"

"Goodnight"

I went back off into my bunk and fell asleep fast.

I woke up to the sound of josh blasting drake in my ear.

He knows I absolutely hate drake.

"Josh what the hell" I say still half asleep.

"Crystal for the last time wake up. It's noon"

I get up but not without punching josh in the arm. "That's for playing drake in my ear" he proceeds to pull me out of the bunk

"That's what you get for not waking up earlier, we have to be at the arena in less than 2 hours for sound check and crap so you better have all of your music together"

I head towards my ukulele case and begin to pull it out, "Yeah I have everything ready. I'm just really nervous for tonight. What if they hate me?"

Josh sits me down and gives me a mini pep talk "Hey look you will be fine, everyone will love you trust me"

"What if they don't?"

"Enough with the what if's crystal you will be fine, if anything would happen Tyler and I have you covered"

I smile "thanks josh"

"Anytime," he takes a good look at me and starts to laugh, "better get ready, it looks like it will take more than 2 hours for you to"

"Oh shut up" I run into the bathroom and begin to get ready.

I finished just in time for us to leave. We headed out to the arena. In my entire existence I've never been to a concert, or an arena in that case. Now here i am opening my favorite band, and adopted by the lead singer. My mind still can't comprehend it.

After sound check we had about an hour until I went on, and in that hour Jenna was trying to keep me calm after I had a panic attack. Not something I wanted to have first day of tour.

"Hey crystal you are on in five," Mark said running to go get something.

I look up at Jenna who's still trying to calm me, "everything will be okay sweetie okay?"

I nod and begin to walk towards the stage. "Here goes nothing" I mumble before walking on with my uke.

As I go on I hear the loud cheers from the crowd, most just really happy to see the girl Tyler adopted in the first place, and the other half curious to see what i sound like.

"How's everyone doing tonight?" I yell. I'm assuming good because of the loud cheers I get in response to my question.

"If you guys know these songs please sing along, this ones Glowing eyes!"

I'm very shaky in the beginning of my set, but the sound of the audience calms me a little. I go along with it, song after song, everyone enjoys me singing and the covers, especially Taco Bell saga. My last song, and one of the only non twenty one pilots songs on my list was fix you by Coldplay. As I finished the loud cheers of the crowd made me smile so much I began to cry a little as I walked off stage. The first thing I'm greeted by is Jenna hugging me.

"You did amazing!!"

Tyler and josh both gave my hugs after.
"I knew you could do it"

I smile, "thanks Tyler"

After congratulating me they all went there separate ways leaving me alone. I sit on the nearest couch and begin to fall a sleep again.
