15~ pathetic

The night time air and wind didn't make anything better.

I started to cry even more, "I'm so so sorry Tyler, I'm such a coward. I can't do anything right."

I look down and can only make out a silhouette of him. As he speaks I can hear him starting to cry. "Please," he starts, "Please don't take you life away from us, we need you Crystal, Me and Jenna." He stops, then continues on. "I dont want a life without you. You are my daughter"

Daughter?

I completely ignore what he says, "how the hell did you find me here? For god sakes Tyler it's the middle of the night and I for sure heard you and Jenna sleeping."

I look down yet again. My tiny feet look big for once, swaying in the air.

"Because" he yells "I heard you open the door down stairs"

"Then how the fuck did you know I was going to be here. There's like a million places I could have been"

"It was just a wild guess, but I assumed because of what you were talking about the other night. You want to find your purpose. And no one knows about this place beside me, I'm guessing you assumed that no one would find you"

He was spot on.

My sobs became more aggressive as he continued on.

Dammit it's so fucking cold.

"Purpose doesn't come easy. And it won't just show up one day, you have to wait. Time is key. Crystal. You have your whole life ahead of you, please please please come down"

I don't know what to do. I'm a burden neo wont stop till they get what they want. I'm hopeless.

"Neo won't let me!!"

Tyler responds very fast, "Blurryface didn't let me, but I managed to escape him. They won't control you."

But neo already has.

Hehe you are so pathetic I love it. I'll let you win this time. But remember I always get what I want. And you can't stop that.

I sigh while wiping the tears that are on my face. I find the closest ladder and climb down.

I am pathetic.

As I get down there I run to Tyler as fast as I can and hug him. I start to cry even more.

"I...I'm so sorry Tyler...I'm so weak"

He hugs me back and calms me down. "You are not weak at all. Here let's go. If I stay any longer..." he mumbles under his breath I can barely hear him, "more bad memories will come back"

We make it back to his car. We sit in there for what seems like forever, but was only about 20 minutes, the whole time Tyler is on his phone, and I'm just trying to get warm after the wild night I had. I look over to him to see he's smiling as bright as can be and starts to talk.

"Wanna go get something to eat?"

I look at him confused, "isn't it like 4 in the morning?"

"Yeah but I know if we go back home you won't go to sleep, and besides I texted Jenna so she shouldn't be worried."

I nod and Tyler drives off. During the ride he wont tell me where we are going, but I don't care. Neos still in the back of my mind. And Blurryface. Who is he??

"Um Tyler?"

"Yeah?"

"Who's Blurryface?"

That question obviously was something Tyler didn't want to answer, or want me to know about. But he had no choice because he brought it up while we were in the forest.

He took a deep breath before talking "Blurryface you can say is like the voice in the back in my head. He's all my insecurities and negative emotions that's I have. I'm guessing this thing named neo is yours?"

I nod, "they just showed up one day after I was adopted, and got really bad after I saw Abigail......"

I stopped after I realized what I said.

"Abigail?" Tyler said a little confused. I never brought Abigail up at all, even about her at the orphanage.

Well damn

I shake my head not wanting to talk about it, "it's nothing Tyler."

He turns quickly and I can only get a glimpse of a confused look on Tyler's face before he looked back at the road. Now I know Tyler won't stop until he knows who Abigail is. 

"Okay so basically I was in the mood for pancakes," Tyler starts, "and this was the only Denny's that was open, so let's eat"   I laugh a little and we head inside

Service is pretty quick since they just opened. I order waffles and bacon while Tyler got pancakes and asked for everything on it. He didn't know that meant bananas as well.

"Ewww I didn't think bananas would be on here"

I laugh and take all the bananas off his plate and eat them.

"So. Your birthdays next week crystal and I have a small surprise for you"

I totally forgot it was next week, I never did anything special for my birthday though. I'm not that important

He shoves another piece of bacon in his mouth and continues to speak, "Jenna and I were going to wait to tell you but I got the okay to go ahead and tell you"

I don't like where this is going.

"So, remember how you were going to come to the second part of our tour"

I nod

"Well....So our opener kinda backed out on us last minute for the US leg"

I still don't like where this is going

"And since you love to play the ukulele and piano....I was wondering if you would want to open for us for at least The US leg?"

My heart dropped, "you want me to sing in front of THOUSANDS of people? Tyler you know I can't do that."

"Well..." he starts " I guess I'll have to talk to your principle again to switch you back into public school"

I start to choke on my orange juice "excuse me?"

"Oh sorry i forgot to tell you. We got you switched to homeschooling for now but you have to agree on being the opener"

I take a good deep minute to myself. An opener? My dreams were actually coming true. I hope I'm good enough

Tyler starts to tap on his plate, "well?"

I sigh. Tyler will not take no for an answer "Yes I will be your opener"

Tyler grows a big smile on his face "great!!! I can't wait to tell all of our fans!"

What am I getting myself into?
