Jade gave him a straight face, "Well? Is that it? Well? All you wanted to say was 'Well.'?" He nodded and walked out the doors, Jade at his coattails. "Well thanks for the info Chris!"
Chris just laughed, "No problem Sweetheart!" He turned around and gave her a look, "Hey uh...Jade? Where are your crutches?"
Jade looked down, at her ankle, which seems completely fine, "Uh...I think I forgot them..."
Chris became very close to Jade and put his hands on her shoulders, "Jade, do you no longer need the crutches?"
Jade looked into his blue eyes, speaking quietly, "I don't know...I don't feel any pain...do you think I should keep using them?"
He smiled at her, "As long as you don't think you'll have to use them I don't think you should use them."
Jade smiled at her, "Ok, but I'm still going to go get them." As she spoke she took a few steps back and started back into the cafe to grab the crutches.
After she walked back she saw some people standing around Chris with cameras and phones, either fans or paparazzi. She walked to the table where Alice and Danial sat at, each eating a sandwich and a soda. "Hey I'm gonna go sit in the car. Come out when you're ready to go." Jade said, walking outside to her Mustang.
Chris was able to spot her in the crowd and began to walk toward her.
"Hey! Jade where ya going?" He asked, once she got to the Mustang.
"I'm waiting in my car." She answered, as she opened the door, "You're busy and Alice is still eating so I'm just going to wait out here."
"Jade stop." Chris said, putting his hand on hers, "I want to keep talking."
"Why?" Jade snapped at him, "Why is that? I'm just another fan! There's nothing special about me! I just happened to get hurt after a concert and you helped me, that doesn't mean you have to keep hanging out with me!" Jade let out a sigh, "And don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with you. I just want to know why."
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He said, the crowd began swarming around the pair.
"Just tell me." Jade insisted, "I can take it, what ever it could possibly be." Chris then took a deep breath, then looked down and mumbled something, "Sorry what was that?" Jade asked him. He mumbled just a little louder and Jade understood it, although no one else in the crowd did.
"Sure!" Jade said with a smile on her face.
Chris looked up at her, "Wait, really?" Jade nodded and all Chris could do was smile, then proceeding to give her a hug.
After this happened it sent the crowd into hysterics. Taking pictures of the two, typing out things on there phones, and asking Chris thousands of questions.
Alice then came rushing out, breaking up the crowd as she ran to Jade, when she finally got to her friend she asked, "Ok...what just happened?"
"Well..."Jade started.
Alice then randomly screamed into the wind, "I swear if there's another cliffhanger I'm going to punch someone. Kaitlyn's already smacked you about all of your cliffhangers, do you really want someone else to smack you Wolfe?"
"Ok! Ok fine!" A.M. Wolfe said to her phone, "I won't leave it at a cliffhanger. I promise. And stay in character Alice!"
"Thank you! And will do!" Alice yelled into the wind once again.
"Uh Alice, what are you talking about?" Jade asked, a confused expression on her face.
"Oh nevermind that!" Alice said, "Now, what happened?"
"Chris asked me if I wanted to go on a date with him." Jade said casually, "I said yes."
Alice's jaw dropped, "Really? How are you not freaking out?"
Jade just grinned, "I'm waiting til I get home to fangirl. I'm also putting this on Tumblr!"
Alice nodded, "Yes, tell the people he's taken."
Jade just laughed, "He's not taken Alice! We're just going out!"
