I woke up in a bright room. White all around. I'm out of the arena. I'm out of the arena? I'm out of the arena! But how?

I stood up and took off cords attached to me and walked into a room.

Penia, Alba, and Finnick were inside.

I glared at Finnick and gave Penia and Alba a hug.

"How is this possible?" I asked.
"There was suppose to be one winner."

Penia look confused also.
"Honestly, we don't know. We got confused the second Snow took Peeta and Johanna."

Finnick shook his head.
"I don't get it. This wasn't his plan. His plan was..."

"For you to kill me, we all know that." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Which you almost did." I added.

"It was the pill!" He shouted.

There was no scar left on my legs. Nor my shoulder.

I was healed.

"We have to head back." Alba said.

"Head back? Head back where?"

"District 6. To see Clayton and Kenny. And Alta." She replied.

I nodded in understanding.

Penia and Alba left the room.
"I think y'all need to talk." Penia said.

I shrugged and Finnick nodded.

"You have to understand it was the pills." was the first thing he said.

"Why? Why should I? You were already suppose to kill me."

He leaned his head back.
"I'm sorry."

I laughed a fake laugh.
"How many times are you going to say that before you realize it's not worth believing?"

"Brooklynn." He said calmly.
"Do you love me?"

I looked up. "Finnick..."

"Do you love me?" He repeated.

"Of coarse I love you, it's just-."

"Then why are you backing away?"
He asked.
"Remember what Rex said? The games are Poison. They did this to you. It's the Games' fault you don't, won't believe me. The games are Poison." He repeated one more.

I shrugged. "Poison. Deadly. Toxic."

"Right."

I laughed again.
"I don't think you get it. The games aren't Poison."

"What?" He asked, confused.

"You are."

He shook his head.
"What are you talking about?"

I grabbed his hand and looked deep into his eyes.

"You said you loved me. Lie.
You said you're sorry. Lie.
You didn't try to kill me? Lie.
You were plotting to kill me. Truth.
The Games didn't make all those plans. You did. You're Poison. You're deadly..."

I hesitated before finishing my sentence.

"You're toxic." and i walked out of the room with my fears all behind me.
