"I'm sorry!" was my immediate reply, though it was hardly my fault.
he looked at me.
and he cracked a smile.
it was as if he actually remembered me.
"it's okay, it was my bad," he said, rubbing his head. "but we really need to stop bumping into each other."
I don't know why, but even the mere thought of this boy making a joke made my lips quiver upward.
"yeah," I quietly agreed we we picked ourselves up.
we stood there, entering the stage of awkwardness. it was pretty obvious. and really uncomfortable.
"yeah, so, uh," he said, "sorry for bumping into you those other two times."
I chuckled. "it's okay. at least you actually said sorry."
at this point, we were walking together slowly down the hall.
"I get what you mean. some people here get on my nerves," he mumbled.
"ah, yeah, but you get used to it. a lot of people here take things seriously in different fields," I responded, hugging myself as my chest began to burn for reasons I wasn't aware of.
"I suppose."

Yoo Kihyun, who's luckily unlucky to be an observer.
he sees things people would walk past, ignore, and not even realize.
he's seen many things happen in this school, and has experienced many things in this school, but does he have the voice to tell anyone?
debatable.
