smirks

lunch was even weirder today than it was yesterday.

I guess nobody expected me to actually make a friend in a day and bring him to our group of six out of the blue, but hey, I did warn them over the group chat.

perhaps the awkward tension originated from them not believing me.

yeah, that sounded pretty reasonable.

it was only hoseok and hyunwoo at the brick wall when we got there, thankfully. at least changkyun could be introduced to two of the more normal people in our group first.

notice my choice of words. more normal, but still weird people nonetheless.

hoseok saw us approaching, and waved. hyunwoo turned to look at us.

I felt like things were in slow motion, as we walked and I analyzed my friends' faces.

they had smirks on them.

I wanted to punch their little faces, with me knowing their thoughts better than anyone else.

Yoo Kihyun, who gets bullied by his friends on a daily basis, but don't let that fool you.

shockingly enough, they're all simply one inseparable pack of teenagers who care more about each other than their grades.

not the best idea in the world, but with kihyun understanding their minds better than his own had its benefits.
