reminded of the days

I noticeably packed my things faster than ever before. noticeably, because jooheon went out of his way to comment on it, which I disregarded.

"You seem more excited than usual," hyunwoo added, jumping out of his seat.

"that changkyun guy has wizardry powers or something," jooheon smirked, walking out with hyunwoo

I just smiled, yet found the urge to bite the inside of my cheek.

I was suddenly reminded of the days where I believed I would do fine on my own. my feelings were stable and didn't drift away from my control. my eyes were never pulled away towards some interest of human liking, never pulled away from the board. those days weren't even a week ago.

now it feels like I gained more intent than just academic. I found my heart beating faster and my smile growing wider when I was with him.

I didn't even know how much I needed people until he sat down into my life on a starry night.
