I stepped into my house delicately, shutting the door behind me after extracting the key. I walked into the living room as casually as i possibly could, back straightened. as expected, I glanced at my father sitting on the couch, our flat screen TV emitting light several feet away from him.
his head didn't move from his laptop.
he picked up his coffee mug off of the coffee table, and sipped it.
I didn't even bother to grab a snack, or a water, or anything, before walking up to my room.
to my surprise, I was greeted by my sister sitting on the bed, looking at her phone. she looked up briefly, before letting her head fall down again.
"oh hey, you're finally back," yunmi said.
"I could say the same about you."
