somewhere down the line, we got onto the topic of cooking, which apparently is something changkyun isn't quite skilled at but I am.

"you'll have to teach me one day," he said.

"sure, ninety-nine cents a class," I told him.

"yikes, too pricey."

which then switched over to video games.

"you're looking at a diamond overwatch player right here," changkyun boasted, obviously lying.

"let me guess, you main mercy," I snorted.

"how'd you know?"

which led to a conversation about sports.

"I prefer cross country, to be honest," I said. "that and soccer."

"I can see why."

"what's that supposed to mean?"

changkyun snickered. "nothing."

and before we both knew it, it was already 7:30am, and the school was in our view.

any other day would've felt like ages.

today felt like moments.
