just the problem

I figured it was pointless to stay for their little debate, so I got up and left.

the rest of the walk home was quiet and uneventful, like usual. the breeze was chilly, but tapered from time to time. it was tranquil, just how I liked it. no people to bother me, no dogs to sniff me like I was some old sock.

but sometimes, that was just the problem.

what if I needed someone to talk to? what if I wanted someone to walk home with me so I wouldn't feel reluctant to leave school? what if I needed a dog to show me I was important?

that actually sounded pretty sad. damn.

I turned the corner, straight into my neighborhood. my house was the first to the right, tall and bricked from the ground to the roof on the front.

I noticed that there was one car in our driveway - a red honda - which only meant one thing.

I fished out my house key from my pant pocket, sucking in a breath as I unlocked the door.

Yoo Kihyun, a man with very clumsy hands.

it's not included, but fun fact, he dropped the key before actually getting it into the lock.

in school, he would be that guy that drops all of his stuff on the floor and have it go flying across the halls. mostly because he was that guy. twice.
