so maybe I was a little salty that I didn't have a chance whatsoever at getting a date for homecoming, or that I didn't even have the guts to ask anyone. so what?
okay, it did get to me.
I couldn't bare listening to all the stupid talk about it and all these proposals left and right. it really bothered me.
what bothered me more, though, was the fact that I was apparently attracted to bad luck.
it was the end of the school day, and I stayed behind as usual as the hallways cleared. the very first step out of the classroom, and I run into someone.
well, more specifically, someone ran into me.
not a bump.
not a brush.
we toppled to the ground.
it hurt.
then I looked up.
then I saw his face.
of course, fate somehow likes to embarrass me any way possible.
so it hurt even more.
