My old diary...

To think that Renée found it after so many years.

I thought I buried the past, but it always seems to come back to me somehow.

Well, not always. I mean, my parents disowned me after I ran away, and well... You know the rest.

Fame has taken its toll on me, BIG TIME (No pun intended).

I really need a break, like REALLY need a break!

I knew that being famous wouldn't be easy but, THIS ISN'T EASY!

I can't go around the city for 5 SECONDS without somebody stopping me and asking for an autograph. I can't imagine what it's like for Renée at school...

I've arranged to meet Chloe & Zoey for a mothers' day out. I can't remember the last time I could unwind like that.

Unwind being a strong word... We thought that it would be a nice relaxing trip to the international market area of the city.

CHLOE: "This place is amazing!"

ZOEY: "I know right? There are so many different stalls here."

NIKKI: "I wonder if our girls would like it here."

CHLOE: "I'm sure that they would, they're such good friends!"

ZOEY: "And Charlie tells me that Renée has developed a little crush on someone."

NIKKI: "What do you mean? Crush?! I won't allow it! She isn't dating anyone until she's twenty-one! Not after last time..."

CHLOE: "It's all but confirmed, Ashley can't stop gushing about how great they would be together. She asks me how you and Brandon got together."

NIKKI: "..."

ZOEY: "Chloe!"

CHLOE: "Right, right, sorry. I didn't mean to bring up forbidden memories."

NIKKI: "Don't worry about it. So, who is this lucky boy?"

ZOEY: "A rather handsome looking boy called Daniel Sherman."

NIKKI: "Him?"

ZOEY: "Ever met him?"

NIKKI: "Sure, he's close friends with Renée."

CHLOE: "So was Jordan. OW!"

ZOEY: "..."

CHLOE: "Still kicking me to this day..."

NIKKI: "There was always something off about Jordan. And Daniel? Well...he's fine I guess. He just has an uncanny resemblance to..."

CHLOE: "Wait, what?!"

ZOEY: "You're not talking about HIM are you?"

NIKKI: "Who else could it be? It's hard to forget someone like him. No matter how much you wish you could..."

ZOEY: "Look, Nikki, it's impossible. He's gone for good, he left Westchester. End of story."

CHLOE: "Yeah, it's not like Daniel could be Maxwell's son or anything like that."

ZOEY: "Just had to say his name, didn't you?"

NIKKI: "I have no idea, I guess that I'm just being paranoid. Just... Oh hey, that's the new hat store! I'll be right back!"

CHLOE: "Okay, we'll be waiting right here!"

ZOEY: "Always trying to change the topic and denying her true feelings..."
