I can't believe this!!!! 
I stormed into my room and slammed the door behind me. 
Everything was wrong. 
Jack was talking to Elsa for about  a few weeks and now they were dating.  Really?! 
As soon as he told me the news, I couldn't hide it.  I felt as if he had betrayed my best friend.  Yeah she was dead..  But...  Ugh!  I didn't know what to think! 
And Hiccup too!!  With little miss perfect . With her blond hair and blue eyes and skinny little body and "amazing personality" ( his words not mine).  Of course she won him over.  Who am I kidding?  They had been dating for maybe a month now and I've avoided him ever since. 
She only found an interest to Hiccup when she found out about how  he was with cars and how hood he was at fighting walkers and the story of how he lost his leg, but the time that really made Astrid want Hiccup was the time they both went scavenging and Hiccup saved her from getting a walker bite. That's it she like Hiccup for being a "hero".
I mentally rolled my eyes as I thought of this. 
Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. 
" Go away! " I shouted at the door. 
Instead,  the door creeped open. 
Hiccup's brunette hair appeared first then I was able to see all of his face.  I rolled my eyes.  Great the last person I wanted to see right now .  I suddenly realized why he was here. 
Jack and Elsa had just told us the "great " News of them getting together. 
...
I chuckled. 
"You're joking...right? " I asked. 
Jack and Elsa's smiles instantly faded. 
Hiccup,  who was sitting a good foot away from me on the couch cleared his throat and shifted around on his seat. 
I looked at Jack and Elsa in disbelief. 
" Oh god you're serious. " I whispered to myself. 
I got up. 
" Merida wait! What's wrong? " Jack asked. 
That was it. 
" Jack?  What's wrong?!? " I asked annoyed, "What about Rapunzel?!" I asked. 
" Rapunzel? " Elsa asked facing Jack. 
" Meri she's gone.. " Jack responded. 
" You don't know that! " I snapped.  I knew she was gone but I still couldn't bring myself to admit it. Something told me she was still alive. 
"Meri-"
"She could be alive"
" She's gone"
"You don't know th-"
" MERIDA SHE'S DEAD!  ALRIGHT?! " Jack suddenly rose his voice.  I would see pain in his eyes and his voice cracked at the end. 
" You promised, "  I told him, " You promised you would never replace her! " And with that I ran upstairs. 
...
It was true.  He always told Rapunzel he'd never replace her.  Always. 
Hiccup walked in slowly.  I knew he was hear to talk.  He put his hand on my shoulder.  I shrugged it off and scooted away from him . 
" Merid-"
" Leave"
"But-"
"NO. LEAVE. " I said firmly. 
"Merida Jac-"
" SAVE IT! " I shouted, " I can't believe him...  Him or you! "
"Me?! "
" Yes you Hiccup Haddock!I can't believe youre ok with this!!   "
" Well yes I am!  "
"WHY?!"
" If it makes Jack happy then it's what's best! "
I put my hands over my head in frustration. 
" You're fake"
" Me?!  You're the one that started ignoring me! "
" You're the one letting Jack date someone else and well..  You didn't seem to be missing me plus you had some company"
I crossed my arms. 
" Astrid? " He questioned. 
"  No. Jack.  Of course Astrid!!  Who else?! You don't spend time with anyone but her! "
"Why does she bother you so much?! "
" She only likes you because you're a hero to her and she likes that you're well known around town! "
" You're lying"
" Am I?!  Tell me Hiccup because I'm extremely curious..  Did she start showing interest in you before or after you saved her from the walker? "
" At least she treats me like I'm loved and like I'm somebody!! " He shouted raising his voice. 
" Would she 'love' you if you were nobody? "
" NOBODY LOVED ME WHEN I WAS NOBODY.!!!!! "

"I DID!!!!! "
His face instant changed from angry  to shocked.  I was a little shocked at myself as well,  but I hid it with my anger. 
"Meri... " 
I felt the tears threaten to fall.  I didn't want to see him anymore.  I didnt want to see anyone anymore,  so I ran.  I ran away from him.  I sprinted down the stairs past Jack and Elsa,  akwardly sitting on the couch,  and out the door. I didn't turn back.  I ignored every single person that was out side.  I stopped by the armory and grabbed my bow and arrows which  Buzz had found just for me.  I ran to the front doors and ordered the men to open the gates.  As soon as the door was open,  I walked out and met the infested street of walkers.

  I didn't come back to the camp until it was really late.  The gates were opened for me and I made my way home.  I heard my boots tap against the road leading to my house. 
I unlocked the door and quietly made my way to the bedroom.  I didn't want to sew Hiccup or Jack.  I knew Jack was mad at me and Hiccup would only reject me and make it awkward between us.  I flopped onto my bed and pulled my sheets over me.  Tomorrow better be better than this day,  but I knew it wouldn't unless somehow people could be brought back from the dead.
