Chapter 40

Ella's P.O.V

A few months pass. Jack and I have been working a lot. I take Liv to work most of the time. I was  in a movie called 'Blue Wind' as a young teacher who may or may not all be a serial killer. I was into it. I came home from work and the boys were in the studio. "Hello" I walk into the home studio. "My girls!" Gilinsky smiles. I set Liv down and she crawls happily toward Jack. He picks her up and she yells out "Dada". His jaw drops. "Did you hear that!" He yells and squeezes her close to him. 

"Well, she said Mama a few times so" I stuck my tongue out. He rolled his eyes and turned back around with Olivia in his lap. I plopped down on the couch next to J. "How's Cee?" I asked. "We're.. taking some time apart. She's staying with her family in Washington for awhile" Johnson shrugged. I half smiled to say 'It'll work itself out'. "But we did decide on a tour" Johnson adds. "Really? Let's hear it" I prop myself up. 

"We're gonna leave for tour in a couple months. It'll only last two months ish, two weeks in Europe, rest in U.S." J explains as G plays back a track. Johnson hops up to take over the producing so Jack can talk to me. "Is that okay with you?" Jack asks as he sits down next to me with Liv squirming in his arms. He let's her go on the floor to crawl around and bother J. "Sounds good. Liv and I could probably come to some in Cali" I nod. "Are you sure? I don't want to leave you guys if you don't want me to" He raises his eyebrows. "Of course. This is your career" I smile. He kisses me softly.

I stay in there while they work for awhile until it's time to put Liv to bed. "Say goodnight to Dadda and Uncle J" I pick Liv up from her place on the floor. She giggles and waves. "Goodnight princess" G gets up and kisses Olivia's forehead. I smile and take her to her room. She falls asleep quickly and I make my way to the kitchen to get some food. Sammy is sitting on the counter, eating. "Um, sure, come in" I laugh. "Oh, hey. Are the boys done yet?" He looks up. "Don't think so. Why?" I take the bag of pretzels from him and eat one. 

"Nate might need us in a bit. Some stuff with..- um.. just a not great guy" Sammy shrugs. "Oh, be safe please" I nod. I've learned to just go with it. He looks down at his phone. "Anddd nevermind, looks like it got handled" Sammy hops of the counter and is out the door. I chuckle and shake my head.. I have weird friends. I make my way back into the studio room just as J is leaving. "Bye Ell" J waves. "See ya" I call out. "How is the music going?" I plop down in one of the spinning chairs. "Good, good" Jack tiredly nods.

"I have some news.. I was waiting till it was just us" I smile a little. "You aren't pregnant are you?" G smiles. I shake my head. "We're going to The Oscars. Blue Wind got nominated for best Picture  and I may or may not be nominated for Best Supporting Role" I say casually. Jack's jaw drops. "You're kidding" He stands up. I shake my head "We got the news today". He hugs me tightly. "Congrats baby" He lifts me off the ground. "Thank you" I chuckle.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He stands back. "I was waiting for the right moment" I shrug. "When is it?" He asks. "Two weeks. It's in New York though" I tell him. "I'm so happy for you. Wow" He smiles. He kisses me hard and soon we're in our room. He swiftly takes off my shirt and lays me on the bed. He does the same to his own shirt and reconnects our lips. His hands hold my waist firmly. He starts sliding my pants off. I sit up, unclipping my bra and throwing it off. His mouth moves down my neck and chest. I moan a little.

He moves my underwear aside and starts going at it. I soon do the same for him. I tease him for a while, using my mouth to my advantage. "Jesus, Ella, stop being a tease" He mumbles, spinning me around as he sits on the bed. He places me on his lap and situates his hard and me. He slowly enters me, leaving me to do the rest of the work. I bounce slowly on his lap and he pushes himself further in as he holds me there. I let out a loud moan. We both finished quickly and plopped down on the bed. 

"I should get nominated for shit more often" I take a deep breath as I get under the covers. "I mean, we could do that every night if you wanted to" Jack cuddles up to me. I chuckle and kiss him once more before falling asleep. 

I wake up the next morning and throw on some comfy clothes after my shower. When I enter the kitchen Liv is set up in her chair and Jack is feeding her bananas and strawberries. "My two favorite people" I smile. "Goodmorning mamas" Jack looks back at me. I smile and make a cup of coffee, sitting down next to them. "So, um, Nate texted me something this morning" Jack sets the spoon down for a second and Liv picks it up herself. I take a sip of my coffee and look up at him. "I guess Nate was talking to one of his guys and they mentioned someone.. Alec is back in L.A. but Nate doesn't think he'll start anything after last- last time" He blurts out. I feel a bit panicked at first but breathe in and out a few times. "As long as Liv is safe, I could care less" I nod.

If you don't remember Alec, let me refresh your memory. To keep it short, he kidnapped me. He raped me, drugged me, and the boys had to come save me. He also, on top of being a phsycopath, is my ex. Bout time I talk about that.

Alec and I met when I was 16. Life was a real mess. I finally was safe- I thought, with my Aunt. But I also had no friends there. So I started talking to people on twitter and other places. One day Alec DM'd me on twitter and we started talking. He lived a few hours away and by 17 we were dating. He'd drive out to see me almost every weekend. The only problem was he was 19. A few months before I was 18 he started acting weird. He told me he had gotten involved with the wrong people and needed money. I gave him the money. But it just got weirder from there. He started trying to make me stay over or do things I didn't want to do. 

I found out he was doing like six different drugs at a time, along with like six different girls. When I tried to tell him to stop and confront him, he got physical. I broke up with him and he began threatening my life and my Aunt's. She had to move a few cities away, in fear of her safety. And I ended up moving to L.A., he followed I guess.

It was my first relationship and really fucked up my perspective of men for awhile. I met Jack though, and I know Jack will keep Liv and I safe no matter what. "Ell. Ell!" Jack snapped in front of my face. "Sorry, what?" I look up. "I was saying we should make a trip out of the award show. You know, stay for a few days before" Jack tilts his head with concern. "That'd be nice" I smile and stand up. I clean Liv up and take her out of her seat. 

"Don't you have an interview for today?" Jack takes Olivia from me and she leans into him. I smile at them. "Yeah. With Tara for Teen Vouge. About two hours" I nod. "Damn, stop being so famous" Jack smiles and shakes his head. "Whatever." I laugh. "Mamma" Liv gurgles and throws her arms out. "Aw, hi baby" I coo and take her back from Jack. "See that love" I raise my eyebrows. "Shit, I love my girls" Jack smiles even wider than before. He takes out his phone. "Cheeeessee" I say and Liv giggles in response. I'm so blessed.
