[Chapter Six]

James Potter had been an original member of the Order and he could remember plenty of the trials that went on when he had been involved during the first go around. With the Order reorganised again, he wanted to make sure that he was kept in the loop. Normally, Molly would have ordered against Harry knowing such things, wanting to protect him as long as she possibly could because she saw Harry as one of her sons as much as she did with her other children. However, she was fully aware that the Harry that was among all of them was not the Harry she knew. She had not been apart of the original Order, mainly because she had her children to tend to and raise at the time, but her brothers had been apart of it. Gideon and Fabian had been part of the original Order before they lost their lives in such tragic ways.

They had died a noble, but unnecessary death and it was the main reason why she fought as hard as she did to keep her own children from becoming involved. But with the gods involved, not to mention with her children being of age with the exception of Ron and Ginny, she honestly didn't have a say anymore. If they were going to be a part of it, she was just going to have to do her best to protect them in other ways. She felt like she was fighting an uphill battle ninety percent of the time, however, she would keep fighting that battle to keep her loved ones safe.

James learned plenty of what was going on and the more he learned, he felt quite proud of his boys. Apparently, Voldemort was lying low, trying to keep a hidden profile among the wizarding world and it was all because Harry was supposed to be dead. Perhaps the man did not fully understand how the boy had been hit with the Killing Curse twice and still managed to live and Milo was supposed to die that evening as well. All of those that were witnessed to the return with the exception of the Death Eaters were supposed to be dead, but instead, they all survived.

Everyone in the Order liked to believe that Voldemort didn't want anyone to know that he had returned, but more importantly, he didn't want Dumbledore to know of his return. Bill Weasley claimed that Dumbledore was the only person that Voldemort feared but James was beginning to think differently.

There were other people that Voldemort was going to come to fear and those were the Potter brothers. In the man's eyes, Harry had been hit with the Killing Curse twice and was still alive and for Milo, his brother's sacrifice had placed him under the protection that destroyed Voldemort the first time. It practically left the two of them untouchable by the dark wizard and that left a completely different threat looming over his head that had nothing to do with Dumbledore.

As James sat among his old friends, he, Sirius, and Remus came to figure that Voldemort was going to start trying to recruit his large following again, including witches, wizards, and even giants if he could to make his numbers as large as possible. And while that was happening, the Order was trying to convince as many people that Voldemort had returned, but their biggest struggle was coming from the Ministry as Cornelius Fudge was swimming in denial with no hope of being fished out.  They claimed that Fudge was frightened of Dumbledore, thinking the Headmaster was set on the idea of overthrowing him for the position of Minister of Magic.
