[Chapter Nine]

"Are you sure about all of this, Milo?"

Tucked away in the room, Milo sat on the bed with Remus and his mother in his company, along with Cedric at his side. He wasn't entirely sure as to why Elspeth recommended that he only speak with the two rather than everyone involved, but Cedric quickly explained that she wasn't sure how Sirius was going to react to the boy seeing his late brother. Milo informed them exactly what he had told Elspeth and Cedric when he had first woken up from the vision, about seeing Regulus and their interactions.

"Yes, I'm sure, I saw him and he spoke with me," Milo said growing somewhat irritated. He thought there would be a better reaction once he informed them, but no one seemed thrilled at the prospect of Regulus possibly being alive, mainly because they didn't believe in the slight off chance that he could be.

"Well, he thought you were-"

"Does it matter?" Milo cut off his godfather. "I mean, really, does it matter if he thought that I was my father? Regardless, he was still looking for him or Sirius to talk to, he has something to say. He may be dead, he may be alive, I don't know! I wasn't given enough information to start with, that's usually how it goes. I have to wait and see if the Fates will grant me another vision."

Cedric grimaced at the idea of Milo falling into another and quickly went to dismiss the idea, even if Milo didn't care for his well-being during the visions, that didn't hold true for the rest of them. They obviously didn't want to see him in the slightest bit of discomfort if they could help it, especially Cedric. However, before he could say anything, Milo continued.

"The Fates give me these bits and pieces as if they were parts to a puzzle, it's up to me and the rest of us to put them together to find out what they truly mean. As of right now, I truly don't know what I was supposed to get out of that vision, except for the possibility that Regulus might be alive-"

"Milo, please listen," Minerva said, keeping her voice stern in those moments so that Milo didn't dare to interrupt her. "We understand what you are saying, but you must understand what we are saying. When I worked in the Order during the First War, the death of Regulus Black was reported in 1979. It has been over a decade-"

"But was a body ever uncovered?" Milo asked.

"No," Remus said, " but that doesn't strengthen your argument, Milo. Plenty of people were killed back in the First War and many of their bodies were not recovered. Sometimes, there wasn't a possibility of a body being left after a battle."

"Alright, fine," the boy sighed, " even if Regulus is dead, it still doesn't stop the fact that the Fates granted me to see him. And even if he has been dead, he's not fully aware of it. He's in wherever that cave is and he's looking for Sirius. I think the man has a right to know about that, don't you? I would want to know information concerning my little brother."
