"Yeah yeah hand over the food!" I walked with her as she lead me to her "special place" I wasn't allowed to eat till we got there. Let me just say it was a long walk up a ton of staircases. When we finally got there it was a little dusty from the lack of use but very beautiful.

Tapestries depicting events from the worlds history hung on every wall and the room was lit with light from a single window. I take a quick look then dig into the warm waffles. Mandy took a seat by the window and motioned for me to sit with her. I sit down putting my plate on the table. I had promised Jerry to meet in an hour but I guessed it wouldn't happen so I might have to find him later.

I found myself drawn to the oldest looking tapestry in the room. It showed a glowing sun over fields of golden wheat and trees that looked like emeralds. On the far side was a lake that was laying at the bottom of snow covered mountains.

"Majestic isn't it if you look closely you can see creatures all throughout it. But don't look for them just let them find you." Mandy said looking at the tapestry with me.

Confused I looked carefully at the masterpiece in front of me. I saw them. They were unlike anything I had seen before. Creatures that took away my breath filled the scenery. For some unknown reason I felt lonely like I had when I saw Victor as an angel.

"Do you feel it too?" Mandy said quietly. I nodded understanding her feelings. "I can only describe it as homesickness. It feels like I belong there and not here. When I first saw it I was here for hours just staring at it. Finally I was in need of a bathroom so I left but every time I can I come here to look at it. I want to be there but for some reason I know that it won't happen."

Maybe that was what I felt looking at it. I knew it was real but I couldn't go there because it was gone. Why would I feel that though if I had never seen the place before. I felt something wet go down my cheek and I touched the tear. Why? Wasn't I strong enough not to cry? I looked back at the tapestry and found myself walking over to it.

"Emily?" Amanda asked concerned. "What's wrong?"

I reached and placed my hand upon the picture. I could hear it now the sounds of the wind and laughter of the creatures. That harmony only lasted a short while as I fell to the ground sobbing. Even if I didn't know what happened to them then my intuition was correct when I cried for those who joined the stars.

Amanda filled me in on what she discovered the week I was shut in. She first discovered this room and being intrigued by the tapestry did her research. She told me the story of creation that seemed to be forgotten over time. In the beginning there were five creatures, one of darkness, one born of the earth, one born of the sky, one born of the mind and soul, and one who was born to give life. The one of darkness was hated by all due to his strength's source, without a word he became the background to the other four's lives. The one born from the earth created the lands and sea so he could spend his days in peace and comfort while entertaining his curiosity with the sky.

Born from the everchanging winds and sky the one who represented change tried to unite the five so the world would forever remain a haven in the dark days to come. The one who brought life was against it and went ahead to create a world where all would worship her name. So came the creatures of the world and the everchanging lifestyle they brought with them. The one born of mind found the new creatures exciting and played with their minds until each creature developed a will of their own. The one of sky loved how some of the creatures looked away from the god of life seeking their own futures and bestowed the power of magic to all creatures to use. She thought it would bring them closer to the great five.

However the creature of life did not like that the creatures she made were looking away and brought disaster to them in the days of peace. The creature of mind rose to meet her challenge with backup from the one of change and the one of earth. One born from darkness aided only because he sided with the one of sky. So the five fought until finally something within the one of sky protected the one of life ending the creatures life by the hands of the other four. Upset the four spent days in mourning while the world became consumed by chaos. Blame was pushed unfairly to the one of mind and he cast to the world under along with those he called his followers. Darkness went inbetween the two halves of the world to prevent either side from taking over the other due to hate.
