I had a quick lesson with Mandy before she took to the dance floor creating a scene so beautiful with the tall Clyde that I was unable to look away. Victor said he would be right back after greeting everyone who came but I knew it would take longer then he said. I was now on the search for the one who could help me practice. I found him tucked away in a corner but away from the shadows hiding from the five girls chasing him.

"Jerry!" I hugged his arm. He tried to pull away but I wouldn't allow it. "Teach me how to dance so I don't embarrass myself." he cast me a look of exhaustion. "Please!"

"No it would have me stuck on the dance floor for hours. Once you start social dancing it's hard to leave after just one dance. Besides I don't think your date would be happy with me dancing with you." he sighed looking out onto the floor.

"Maybe you can't dance?" I said trying to instigate him. Though I wish I still had that chain he couldn't argues with me then.

"I can dance every dance there is I just wish you wouldn't try to put me in another's wrath. Do you understand how scary those two are when you are involved?" he held a valid point but I wasn't giving up.

"Fine I'll just tell them you forced me to kiss you." I waved my hand and walked away. He caught me by the waist and pulled me back to him.

"You wouldn't dare!" he hissed.

I gave him a small kiss on the check and he put me an arms length away from him. "I would do anything to get my way."

"You sound pretty evil sometimes."

"Does it turn you on because if it does I'll stop." I tried to do a seductive voice but it didn't sound right so I stopped.

"Turn me on?" Jerry raised an eyebrow. "Is that another one of your sayings where you come from?" it disturbed me to a certain extant that I would be asked what a turn on was.

I placed a hand to my fore and said, "Nevermind."

"You forgot a word."

"What!"

"It's never you mind."

"Who cares?" I sighed.

"Me."

"You know what I don't think you've ever called me by my name. It's always 'you'." I looked up from under my hand.

"Is that so?" Jerry said while crossing his arms.

"Yeah don't you know it?" I teased coming closer to him. "Here I'll help you out." I took a slight breath then slowly said my name. "Em-I-ly."

His gaze was on my lips and he blushed looking away while covering his mouth. I knew this was all an act to hide his true nature but how could I get him to open up. "Hmm." I said stopping my approach on him. "Whatever lets hear you say.."

"Emily." it was totally different then his normal tone. The voice was commanding and strong drowning out all other noise. Maybe it was just me who heard him but it caught me off guard. Jerry's face looked totally serious as though it wanted to tell me something. Those golden metallic eyes seemed to make my breath escape my lungs and ache from lack of air. Just as he went to move his mouth again I heard a voice behind me.

"What's going on over here?" it was deep but not the purr I thought it would be. I turn to invite Victor into our conversation but he stayed behind me causing me to make a choice between the two.

"You're done already?" I asked.

"Actually I'm late to pick you up I thought you'd be waiting where we agreed not trying to flirt with my brother." if he was trying to make me feel guilty it was working. I peered past him and saw that Amanda was no longer dancing.
