It ignored me at first but I knew why in a second. Another girl came from inside the light only her hair was a dark grey. "We are Nyla and Naga." the dark haired girl said. "My sister led you here but it is I who requests a contract with you."
"Depending on the request I will have to put a cost on it." I said already sensing wrong about the mind of the girl called Nyla.
"We wish no I wish for you to kill the man called Bartholomew." Nyla said.
"No sister you promised me you would only ask her for help!" Naga yelled grabbing her sisters arm.
"Hush sister this is not for our sake's." Nyla said silencing the blonde girl.
"I can do this but it would disturb the balance of this world. Have you thought about the consequences?" I said.
"Yes and we have asked the Void what would happen. I am willing to risk it all for this request." she said determined.
"You ask for more than you realize. If I were to kill the king the people would expect me to take the throne. Trust me when I say you don't wish for that." I said then sighed. "You have a deal but don't think I am going straight to murder your king. Now as payment I'll be taking both your names."
"Our names!" Nyla exclaimed. She looked confused then laughed. "Of course you are not the ordinary after all. Fine but I have to ask how this benefits you."
"Without your names you are but two fae without anything. No past, no loyalties, nothing that would define you. I think it's more like a rebirth for you and a vast wealth of knowledge for me." I said as I took their original memories and copied them down in my mind.
As I went to open a portal they finally snapped out of the trance I had put them in. "Please take this." a necklace dropped from the glass and landed at my feet. I picked it up and felt a massive amount of energy inside. "For when you go and kill him." Naga said clasping her hands.
"Sister!" Nyla said worry on her face.
"I know he was coming when they busted down the wall. Hurry demon lord you wouldn't want his wrath in this room." Naga said as the door beside Death shut by itself.
A shout could be heard from behind the door. He was so close and I was so empowered right now. Death grabbed my shoulders and gave me a shake. "It wont solve any problems. Open a gate."
I nodded and opened one to the place they would come too. I stepped through just as the door opened.

That night I remember the rain pouring down on the inns roof as lightning flashed outside. I sat against Deaths back while on the bed looking out the window. He asked me about the twins so I answered him with their tragic story.
Long ago even before the war of Atlantis there was a man with blond hair and blue eyes who had the power to create. It wasn't strong but the fae took him in as their own and taught him all they could about his strange power. He married to the fae princess and had twins with his looks and their mothers talent of pooling energy. Only together they made more energy than one could get from the sun.
The names of Nyla and her sister Naga spread around the world and everyone believed they would be the next rulers of the fae. The father started acting strange around this time. Disappearing for weeks on end without even a single word to the family. The twins were too young to understand but they could feel the anguish their mother was in. One night they were woken up by their mother to leave the place they had always called home. The mother wasn't fast enough in the escape though and was killed by the father.
