"Skye this looks like a UN conference." Rocky laughed as he watched his sister return to the front of the class room. It'd been two months since the dance and the pair had been setting the room up for the first student council meeting. Skye had set out on desks of two, place cards with each tutor groups initials.

"I know. It's so professional." She giggled, returning to her place at the teacher's desk and opening her pale blue binder. Rocky laughed and shook his head, taking his seat beside her as deputy head. The lunch bell sounded and in the next few minutes, some of the chosen reps came in and found their seats. After five minutes, all but two seats were full. All of the paw patrol had been chosen as reps so at least Skye had some friendly faces. Slowly, some of the more 'nerdy' kids had been nicer to the group but no one else had majorly changed their attitudes towards them.

"Is this everybody?" Skye said, noticing the empty seats.

"Just Brianna and Carley." Rocky said, checking the list in front of him.

"Shocker. Right we'll start anyway best not to waste time." Skye smiled. The blonde stood up and began talking, asking each pair of representatives if there were any concerns with how the school was. She noted down problems and usually eased the tension with humour, aka, being her slightly quirky self.

There were ten minutes left of the meeting when Carley and Brianna waltzed in.

"How nice of you to join us." Rocky raised his eyebrows, earning a snigger from the students.

"Alright gay boy."

Skye growled under her breath but Rocky shook off their comment.

"You two please with the utmost respect, sit down and shut up." Skye rolled her eyes. The two models looked at their former colleague and reluctantly did as they were told.
"Right, as I was saying," Skye continued. "Is there anything else that I need to bring up or find out. I've already got the consistency of merits and warnings etcetera."

"What about absences?" Carley asked.

Skye gave a confused look. "Can you elaborate?"

"I mean, there's a lack of consistency there. For most of us we need medical proof that we're ill,"

The paw patrol knew exactly where this was headed now. No other students knew that Everest was not in because she was pregnant. The group hadn't told anyone else at school and in videos, she had only been seen close up recently.

"Yes I can see the fairness in that though." Skye tried to change the subject.

"Let me finish." Carley snapped. "But other students have been allowed months off without a seconds thought from the principal."

"Well the principal knows of certain circumstances that others don't necessarily need to know." Rocky spoke up.

"But surely we're owed some explanation of why they're away for such a long period." Skye gripped her pen tightly, knuckles threatening to burst through her skin.

"Sometimes it's none of other people's business."

"But surely its within the interest of the students."

Without thinking, Skye snapped. "Look. Everest has a reason to have such a long period of time off alright?! That reason being she's pregnant and doesn't need the likes of you causing her any stress!" Her eyes widened as she realised just what she had done. Her gaze flicked to Marshall who was hiding his face from everyone. Brianna and Carley smirked victoriously. The bell sounded for everyone to go to their final lesson. Students filed out and Skye picked up her notes from the meeting and waited for her friends. As Marshall passed her, his head bowed, she spoke again.

"Marsh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Don't bother Skye." He whispered, brushing her hand off. Chase put his arm around his girlfriend.

"Don't worry. He'll come round." He kissed her head. Skye looked up at him. Although she trusted that Chase knew what he was talking about, she wasn't too sure.
