The girls and Marshall stared at Savannah in complete and utter shock. The rest of the guys walked out and looked at the others who were gawping like goldfish.

"Um, dudes?" Zuma queried. No response.

"You all okay?" Chase raised an eyebrow. None.

"Hey what's the lantern for?" Rubble asked and pointed to the package in Marshall's hand.

"Toby." Savannah clapped her hands as she repeated her first word.

Everyone in the house fell silent. Eventually, Everest picked her daughter up and cuddled her with a smile on her face and a tear in her eye.

"You are so clever baby girl." She smiled and kissed the top of her head. Marshall took a few paces over and joined the two of them. Skye nodded, motioning for the others to go out into the back garden.

As soon as they stepped out into the wooden decking, Skye, Sweetie and Chelsea all said the same thing.

"That was adorable."

"Almost as adorable as you." Rubble put an arm around Chelsea.

"Awww." The others smiled.

"Shut up." They blushed. Skye looked at her watch and sent a text to Celeste, telling her that they'd possibly be a little late to the initiation night before slipping her phone back into her bag. All the dancers were dressed in their dance kit and wearing converse on their feet in their favourite colour.

After about an hour, Everest let the lantern go from the decking and smiled warmly as Savannah leaned into Marshall who was holding her close, yawned and waved to the glowing blue material. Marshall's parents walked out and joined the teens as they engaged in random conversation before Savannah went to bed and the dancers left to get to the pool.

"It's just like in pitch perfect." Chelsea smiled as the five jumped into the drained pool.

"I know right." Skye yelled over the music.

"Hey Hey Hey!" Celeste joined the girls while Marshall went off in search of the boys. After a few minutes, the music stopped and one of the senior dancers, Rhiannon, gained everyone's attention.

"Now were all here, how about a riff-off, dance style?" There was a chorus of cheers as the entirety of Adventure Bay's young dancers split into teams. Skye smiled as she was with all her girl friends and a few of the others from her group. Marshall, of course stuck with the guys.

"Come on Rhi, first theme?" Skye called happily yet slightly impatient.

"Okay. And it's..... boys, that relates to song title, content or artist. Okay who came up with these themes?"

"Doesn't matter." Celeste called, walking forward to the centre of the groups quickly.

"I may run and hide
When you're screamin' my name, alright"

The girls smiled and joined their teammate, both singing and dancing in perfect sync. They looked and sounded pretty good.

"But let me tell you now
There are prices to fame, alright
All of our time spent in flashes of light
All you people can't you see, can't you see
How your love's affecting our reality
Every time we're down,"

Marshall gave a smug smirk and turned to his group who nodded. The boys walked forward, forcing the girls to move from their space.

"You can make it right
And that makes you larger than life
Looking at the crowd
And I see your body..."

"Body,
Everybody, rock your body right,"

Once again, the group were on the same wavelength and danced perfectly together. Still, Skye gave a cunning smile and whispered to her girls. They turned and waited for the word that they had to link on while the boys continued.

"Backstreet's back, alright,
Oh my God, we're back again
Brothers, sisters, everybody sing
Gonna bring you the flavor show you how
Got a gotta question for you better answer now, yeah
Am I original?
(Yeah)
Am I the only one?

(Yeah)
Everybody, rock your body right
Backstreet's back alright, alright
Now throw your hands up in the air
And wave'em around like you..."

"You
Do it like a brother
Do it like a dude,"

Quick as lightening, Skye pushed the boys back, her group right behind her and moving fiercely together while her, Ev, Sweetie and Chelsea sang.

"Grab my crotch, wear my hat low like you

The other groups cheered while the girls high fived one another.

"Moving on," Everest interrupted, "this is the last initiation night for us seniors. Let's have fun and make it a good one."

"Amen to that." Chelsea agreed. As the dancers dispersed to grab drinks and socialise, the paw patrol members that were at the event gathered together.

"When do we find out about prefects?" Sweetie asked.

"Next week. Monday." Marshall Said anxiously.

"We'll be fine guys. We just have to be ourselves and make this year a good one." Skye smiled.

"I'll drink to that!" Chelsea clinked her coke can to her friends as they made their last initiation night one to remember.
