Sorry for such a short chapter, and sorry for not being active for a while, I've just had problems in my life right now.

I also feel like I've abandoned this account and this story when that isn't true. I will be back and will be more frequent than I have in these past two months.

We were all walking back laughing and joking with one another, as I turned to talk to Cameron I felt something tap my nose.

I furrowed my brows and I looked up to notice the sky had changed colour. The colour was indicating that is was going to rain.

Hopefully wash away my feelings...

"Erm guys?" No one heard me, "Guys?!"

They all snapped their heads to me, "Look up." I pointed upwards to notice they follow that direction. "It is going to rain, so I think we should go home." They all started to agree.

"Lia? You coming back to mine?" She smiled and nodded, "But, I need to do something first, but I will meet you there." I nodded at her and rushed down the street.

"Ruby!" I stopped to see Cameron chasing me, it was kind of hard to see him due to rain now starting to rush down. Every step he took, the quicker it got.

He finally reached me, panting, "I forgot something." I lifted a brow, confused as a puppy. "I forgot this." He started to lean forward, my eyes widened, but soon closed and followed his actions.

How cliché in the rain.

But instead of feeling lips on mine, I heard a huge crunching noise almost like a bone breaking. I snapped my eyes open to see Cameron on the ground and a panting Lucas next to me.

"Wh-what the hell is wrong with you?" He snapped his head at me, whilst Cameron groaned on the floor.

I rushed to him to check whether he is okay, "No, get off me!" He pushed me off and I gasped, "I-I"

"Save it Jenson. I'm done." With that he got up and wobbled somewhere. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"What is wrong with you?" My voice turned monotone.

I got up slowly and turned to face him.

Evidently, he didn't answer me, so I slowly went to him.

"I said. What. The. Hell. Is. Wrong. With. You?" He put his head down and sighed.

"Re-red, I'm sorry. I-I don't know why I did that." He went to touch my face, but I flinched away, "Don't touch me."

"Red please." I scoffed out.

"What, what do you want me to say Lucas? You physically hurt Cameron and for what reason? Him almost kissing me." I sighed shaking my head, turning away. But I stopped realising something.

"Hurt."

"What?"

"I'm fucking hurt Lucas." I snapped my head around, "Don't act like you give one fucking damn about me, because you don't." I laughed, "And if you did care, well you wouldn't have done what you did."

He sighed heavily. "I'm sorry..."

I shook my head, "That's the problem! You're not sorry, and you never will be fucking sorry. That word, it means fuck all to me right now and maybe ever. Just stop apologising and stay away from me."

"Red stop, you don't mean that." I stopped, "That's the thing I do Lucas. I do." With that I ran off.

I laid on my bed, with Lia next to me. "How? Why?" I closed my eyes.

"Why is he doing all of this Lia?" She sighed, "Because Rub, he's in love with you."

I coughed out, "Excuse me? Come again?" She shook her head, "He is in love with you Ruby, but you're too blind to see it."

"He is not." I crossed my arms, "Why do you think he wants to help you? He knew from the beginning. He knew since the day he dared Jason to do what he did, as he knew he wouldn't get you due to his reputation."

I laughed and shook my head, "So his way was to break my heart? Let me cry for 1 month straight? Let me be humiliated? I was in pain and he put me there! I hate him, and I always will."

"You don't hate him." I snapped my head to her and raised a brow, "Erm yes I do."

"Rub, even when you hate him you are slowly falling in love with him just like a falling asleep, slowly then all at once."

My heart was racing.

I didn't know how to respond to that. It isn't true.

I know it. Don't I?

"You don't know anything about love Lia. Just drop it." I looked at her, "Please."

She sighed and nodded, "Fine."

She isn't right. I know that. I hate him.
