I was walking to maths, when I bumped into someone I didn't want to. "Hey Red!" I slightly groaned. "Go away Lucas." I barged past him in a rush to get to class.

He grabbed my arm stopping me from moving, "Hey! Let go of me!" I struggled in his grip. "Hey! Hey! Red, calm down. What has gotten in to you?" He moved my body round so I am facing him, worry was spread all on his face.

"Lucas, let go. In case you forgot I don't like you."

Well that's a lie.

"I despise you, you've humiliated me. You've tried to help - which was a fail. You just keep on appearing in places I don't want you too."

I yanked my arm back, "I thought you was different and yet again here we are, back to our regular selves. It was nice knowing you Lucas King."

I walked away feeling my heart slightly tear. I mean I should be use to it, but this time it felt a lot different.

I shook my head and carried on walking to maths.

I couldn't focus in maths, I was literally impossible. I mean I didn't need to know Pythagoras, but I blame Lucas. Well considering he was right next to me.

Throughout that lesson, it was constant 'Sorry Red', 'Red please talk to me.'

But what stayed with me is what he said just before the end of the lesson; "Alright then, be like that Red. Don't come crying to me, when things go bad because I sure as hell won't be there to pick you up."

That one stung. I walked out of the lesson and walked to my locker, placing my head on it, I sighed annoyingly. "Aw, how sad. Has Lucas finally realised that you're not worth saving?"

I turned my head to see a fake pouty Olivia, running a finger down her cheek to pretend it was a tear. "Enough." I whispered.

"Excuse me? What was that? I didn't quite catch what you said?" I took a deep breath.

"I said enough! Or are you too deaf to hear that too?" That once fake 'smile' soon turned into a scowl.

She soon then laughed, and quickly grabbed my head pulling my head close to her lips; "Listen here and listen good. I do not appreciate this. You had your say before and now here is mine. Stop trying with Lucas, he will never go for you. He saw you as a poor soul who needed help."

"He doesn't care for you, and he never will. I mean why would he? He is popular, and you're not. Yeah you 'dated' Jason, but in case you forgot that was all a bet made by the devil himself. Lucas is mine and will always be mine."

She pulled me back and stared straight at me and fake smiled, walking off flickering her hair in my face. I took a deep breath.

"Rub? Are you alright?" I thought maybe that would be Lia, but it wasn't. it was - "Cameron?"

"Where the hell have you been?" He sheepishly scratched his neck, "Away." I rolled my eyes, "Well no shit, the last time we spoke was the night Lu-"

"Was the night Lucas punched me, yeah I know." I went to open my mouth, but he beat me to it, "Look Ruby, you don't need to apologise for him. What he done was on himself and not you. I shouldn't have shouted at you, I realise that now."

"Now, of course I don't know why he would - well yes, I would, but I would love to hear why you think he did that?" Cameron stalked closer, "So enlighten me Miss Jenson." He whispered.

"I-I don't know why." He tutted, "That's the thing Red, you do. Or well your friend knows. Lia, was it?" I furrowed my brows.

What the hell has gotten into him?
