~im_asadboy I hope this turn out okay, thanks for this idea and for introducing me to an awesome song!!

[Song: Tomorrow never came by Lana Del Rey]

Sam sat crossed legged on the bed, his back leaning against the backboard.

Music played through his headphones, no where near as loud as Dean would have it, but loud enough to block out the world as he thumbs through the stack of photos in front of him.

He was deep in thought, thinking over Gabriel's words and over analyzing them, like normal.

"You can tell me about everything that has happened since we last saw each other, you know that right?"

Had he meant that? Maybe, but if he did, Sam had no idea on how he would even begin that conversation.

Sam had held of lot of guilt over how he had left Gabe, despite it being John's fault that they had left in the middle of the night.

He had planned a nice day to spend with Gabe before leaving, he would of taken Gabriel to the local park where there would of been a picnic waiting, and then... Sam would of told Gabriel his plan that would of meant they could of stayed together.

But life wasn't always fair, and they'd been dealt a crap hand that had made things turn out how they had.

The next song on his phone starts playing in his ears as he starts to lose himself in the memory of that single regret.

Sam grinned as he lay on his bed, phone against his ear as he fondly listens to Gabriel tell him about his most recent prank that ended with Balthazar waking up on a floaty in the middle of the public pool.

"You know, you should help me do that to Lucifer," Gabriel laughed.

Sam chuckled, "I could, but I could also choose life."

He listened to Gabriel scoff at him over the phone, but grew distracted as he eyes fall on the picnic basket stashed under his desk.

"Hey, Gabriel?"

"Ooo, Moose called me by my full name? Must be serious."

Laughing at his idiotic boyfriend, Sam rolled onto his back and stared up at the Doctor Who poster hanging above his bed.

"How do you feel about doing something nice together on Tuesday?"

There was a moment of silence on the other end on the phone before Gabe answered in a considerably quieter voice.

"Tuesday? Isn't that the day you leave?"

"Yeah, but hey, don't think about it like that."

"Okay, wh-what did you have in mind?"

"Its a surprise, you'll find out that day at lunchtime."

"Sounds fun," Gabriel was obviously trying to sound happy, but it must of been hard considering the circumstances.

After they had said their goodbyes, Sam just lay there with his plan that could end in dozens of bad ways running through his head.

All he knew was that if he succeeded, he and his brother could stay here happily. Humming lightly, Sam smiles to himself.

So before he could wimp out, he picked up his phone again and dialed the number for the one person who would be able to help his plan, Bobby.
