Pov Jason
"Hi" I smiled and threw my arm around Nate. We had a break now and I saw some people looking but I didn't really care.
"H-hey" he stuttered and looked away.
"Is something wrong?" I asked a bit confused.
"Y-your arm..." he pointed out.
"What? You don't like it?"
"People are staring"

"Let them stare" I smirked and looked at him.
"So, about this weekend-"
I was interrupted when Simon arrived.
"Hey guys" he laughed and looked at me.
"Why aren't you with your friends?"
"Cause you're my friends" I stated and looked back at Nathan.
"So I was thinking about saturday afternoon, what do you think?"

"Y-yeah, I'll chose a movie then" he said.
"Great" I smiled and let go of him.
"So if you text me the hours I'll come and pick you up"
"With what?" Sim asked a bit laughing.
"My bike" I said.
"Sorry, I don't have my license yet so"
"It's nothing" Nate assured me and smiled softly.

"It's not like it's that far so I don't mind at all"
"Tss, as long as the love birds tell me everything about their little rendez vu, I'm fine with everything" Sim laughed.
"You really want the details of me doing your best friend?" I asked.
"Hell yeah" he said. I noticed Nathan who was turning red out of embarrassment as he tried to disappear into the shadows.

"Just making sure" I said as I looked around. I saw Sander making his way over to us and sighed.
"Hey, Emily wants to speak to you" he said without looking at the others.
"Why isn't she coming over herself?" I asked.
"Because of me" Nate sighed and looked at me.
"Just go, it's fine"
"No, I won't" I said and looked at Sander.
"You're not her lapdog San, so don't act like it"
The bell rang and I smiled.

"See you all later"

...

At lunch I sat at my usual table even though nobody was there yet.
"Hey" Sander said and sat down beside me.
"I've been thinking about what you said this morning and you're right... Emily treats us like her slaves and it needs to stop"
"Glad we're on the same page" I smiled as André arrived.
"What ya talking about?" he asked.

"The fact Em keeps us in her shadow" I stated.
"Like she can keep you under control" Sander laughed.
"She's been trying since the very beginning to win you over for her alone and you still manage to have other friends"
"Are you saying you don't have other friends?" I asked.
"Not really" André shrugged.
"Emily made us leave them for her"

"Well, not really like that, but you get the point" Sander said.
"Wow, doesn't sounds really friendly for a friend" I stated.
"Why don't you just leave her? It's not that hard you know"
"And that's where you're wrong Jason" André laughed.
"But it's okay. We're all graduating next year so we'll be rid of her"

"That's one way to look at it..." I muttered as I saw Nathan entering the room.
"Hey Nate! Over here!" I yelled and waved him over. He looked a bit surprised at me as he saw the others but still decided to walk towards us.
"What's up Jace?"
"Come, sit with us" I said and pointed at the seat in front of me, next to André.
"R-really?" he asked and looked at the others.

"Yeah, it's fine, come on" Sander said.
"B-but Emily a-and Peter..." he stuttered.
"If they want you they've got to go through me, remember?" I said.
"And he can fight or did you forgot?" André added.
"How could I?" Nate sighed and sat down. I saw Emily look at us with a disapproving look in her eyes. She turned around and went to Peter. I saw them talk and glare at me. So that's how Emily really is... Interesting...

Pov Nathan
It was fun with Sander and André. Later on Sim and Ella joined us. Everyone except Emily... Of course.
"Hey Nathan, wanna go to my place?" Jace asked as we walked out of school with our bikes.
"Yeah, sure, why not" I smiled and followed him home.

"I'm home!" Jace yelled as he opened the door and let me in. Max came running towards us and I laughed.
"Hey boy, are you happy to see us?"
"He's always happy when someone enters the house. A useless guard dog, but fun nontheless" Jace stated.
"Yeah, Chrissy would sleep through an alien invasion" I said and he laughed.

"Let's go upstairs" he smiled and went up. I just followed him, like I always did. He leads, I follow. Strange that it was the other way around when we met, not so long ago. When I approached him in the park, I took the first step. And man, I was so glad I did. He changes everyone around him in just a few days time... It's kinda his superpower.

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked as he shut the door.
"Well, I've got a PlayStation" Jace suggested and came closer to me.
"Or do you have something else in mind?"
Was he challenging me? I saw him looking at my lips and needed all my self-control to restrain myself from kissing him.

He wanted this, he wanted me... But I just grinned and turned around.
"I hope you have some good games then"
He just stared at me for a few seconds before moving again.
"Oh, uhm, of course" he said a bit disappointed and started up his PlayStation. I smiled, satisfied. Hard to get, I liked it.

...

Jace and I played a few games until the moment I gave up.
"Ugh! I hate this! You win!" I yelled out of frustration.
"Are you surrendering, my dear Nathan?" he smirked as I let my controller fall onto the ground.
"Yes, okay! I surrender!" I sighed angryly and he pushed me to the ground.
"Good" he whispered.
"J-Jace! W-what are you doing?" I asked, taken by surprise.

"I'm just claiming my price, if you don't mind" he said and looked in my eyes. Before I knew it I felt his lips on mine. I slowly kissed back as I felt his hands in my hair. After a few seconds he pulled away and grinned.
"I've been waiting to do that the whole day... Chose a movie yet?"
"N-no" I stuttered.
"Oh... Just let me know okay?"
"O-okay"
