Pov Nathan
"So? How was it?" Angela asked in the morning. Jace was still asleep and I was thinking of bringing him breakfast on bed.
"How was what?" I asked slightly confused.
"Thin walls, my dear brother... Very thin walls" she grinned.
"Or why do you think I always stay at Nick's and not the other way around?"
My eyes shot open as I realised what she was saying. She heard us...doing, well, stuff...
"N-no, no, no" I said quickly and shook my head.
"I-it wasn't what you're thinking! At all!"
"Aah Jason! More!" she shouted, moving her hips back and forth.
"No! W-we didn't...do it..." I muttered, whispereing the last part.
"W-we just f-fooled around... Nothing happend!"
"If you say so" she smirked and I could feel my face heat up. The door opened and Jace walked in, only in his underwear, yawning.
"Morning..." he mumbled and stretched, swinging his arms around me so he hugged me from behind. He placed his head on my shoulder and kissed me on my cheek. My sister looked at his scars and bruises for a moment but decided to ignore it.
"Whatcha making?"
Angela bursted out in laughing and quickly snapped a picture.
"Relationship goals, so on point!" she smiled.
"I call this one 'The morning after', fitting, don't you think?"
"Nothing happend!" I repeated.
"Oh, what? We didn't fuck or anything if that's what you mean" Jace stated in his morning voice, letting out another yawn mid-sentence.
"We're just two hormonal horny teenagers that needed to release some pressure, isn't that right cutie?"
I felt my face heat up even more as he said that and Angela almost bursted into tears.
"Jason, you're absolutely amazing! Stay forever if you like" she laughed while taking her coffee and walking to the living room.
"I'll consider your offer" he simply replied while pulling me closer to him.
"Can I help with anything?"
"You were supposed to get some rest" I muttered.
"It's sunday, go back upstairs and lay down in bed. That's an order"
"An order huh?" he asked and kissed my neck.
"You're getting a little demanding, but that's okay... I'll be waiting for you"
His warmth left me and my back felt instantly cold. I just shrugged it off and continued on making breakfast. When that was done I put everything on a big wooden plate and took it upstairs with me. When I opened the door to my room I saw Jace laying on the bed on his stomach, legs wiggling in the air and a pen in his hand. He was writing in that little notebook I saw yesterday.
"You knew the exact words I wanted to hear, like you knew exactly what I was thinking" he sighed and wrote on while I placed the plate down on my desk.
"But that isn't possible, is it? So I started thinking a little more... Guess what I found?"
"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have read it" I appologized.
"I didn't know what it was, I swear... But it helped me understand how you felt. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Cause I'm way overdramatic sometimes" he sighed and closed the book.
"I rather write my feelings down instead of sharing them. And this book is my private little area where all my emotions get a place. It's not meant to be read unless I want to, okay?"
"It will never happen again, I promise" I said and handed him some freshly made orange juice.
"Here, it's really healthy"
"Thanks mom" he smiled and took the glass.
"Come on, we'll eat in bed together so we can hug and snuggle and other cute couple stuff"
I rolled my eyes and chuckled. So Jace was that kind of person in a relationship. Being the dominant one in bed but in need of affection 24/7. I put the plate on the covers and Jace pulled me between his legs, hugging me from behind and intertwining our legs. I leaned onto him as we ate and talked. After breakfast we had a little make out session before I started my schoolwork. Jason copied what he could from my books but since we studied different things, not all courses matched. Like his math for example was much more difficult than mine and he didn't even have economics while it was one of my main courses, together with accounting that is. But some things were the same, like history and english. I groaned and dropped my pencil on my desk, spinning my chair around.
"Why is chemestry so hard?" I complained. Unlike what you might think I actually had sciences, just not as many hours as Jace and they switched over time. Like first it was biology, now chemestry and we would end with physics.
"Cause you suck" Jace commented from on the bed, copying my books.
"Your dick" I added and saw him roll his eyes.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me like that, you made me this way" I said.
"Oh no, I created a monster!" he exclaimed and waved his hands in the air.
"Come on, what is your chemestry even? Bases and acids? Carbon molecules and connections?"
"The first one" I muttered and turned back to my book.
"How do you even calculate the pH? When did we learn this?"
"Argh, are you serious? I saw that last year" Jace stated.
"You calculate the molarity of the free H atoms and put it in the formula"
"Which one?" I asked.
"The pH = -log[H]" Jace said, seemingly knowing the equation by heart.
"It's really not that difficult. Need any help? I can explain it to you"
"Really? That would be great" I sighed and laid down next to him with my homework. He explained it to me, much better than the teacher ever did. Everything seemed so clear now... It was unbelievable.
"Omg Jace, you're a genius!" I laughed and kissed him.
"I'm just good at sciences" he shrugged.
"I mean, don't ask me to translate an article or something but calculating pH is something I can do. I don't even know all of those economic terms in you book"
"What? Like inflation?" I asked.
"I have no idea what that means" he shrugged.
"But I do know pi with 7 significant numbers. Everyone has a strong suit and weaker points, it's natural"
"Then why do doubt yourself so much?" I asked.
"Cause there can't be reasoning without doubt, it's basic in every science" he said.
"No, I mean, why do you think so low of yourself? You're an amazing person Jason. I love you"
"T-thanks" he smiled and blushed a little.
"I love you to"
