Today has been twice as bad as yesterday. Not only were you struggling to fight off thoughts of your recently deceased brother throughout class but you also spent the whole day going back and forwards arguing with yourself about taking up your father's offer.

It isn't like you have any idea of what you want to do after you leave school but you don't know anything about your father's business either. You had never asked and he never discussed work at home.

The large variety of subjects you take means that once you could put off the decisions about your future up until now. Still, you aren't entirely sure if you want to follow your father's footsteps down the business route to life.

The Mugiwara group had been chattering all about the impending quest during breaks which became a welcome distraction for your crowded mind.

Usopp had drawn up a small battle plan during interval which he presents during lunch.

"If this monster is a hoarder like Nami tells us it will have a den where it keeps the treasure." He explains "hoarders hate having their treasure out in the open. This means we are going to have to lure it out with some sort of bait. Maybe we could buy some meat from the market or hunt something while out in the forest, the exact way we do this does not really matter, what's next is the important part." He pulls out a rough sketch of the placement you will all have around the monster. "Three people stay in front to divert it's attention away from the rest of the party. They can use small attacks and rope to keep its head facing forwards so the rest of the body is free for the others to attack it. Once it is defeated we can loot the den, Nami said that we only have to return the NPC's treasure to him and we should be able to keep the rest so we get both treasure and xp." Usopp finishes his presentation.

"Sounds good, get on as soon as you get home" Luffy instructs with excitement "this monster isn't going to know what hit it"

Your bag is on the floor and the computer is running the moment you get into your room. Luckily your father is out at the moment so he will not be able to confront you until dinner at least. You set the VR gear onto your head, not even bothering to change out of your uniform, and start up the game.

The world forms around you much faster than last time and the textures are all there almost instantly. You load into one of the bedrooms on the second level of the building on an old bare mattress that is lying on the dusty wooden floor.

On the mattress beside you Robin is sitting up and looking through her inventory panel. She notices you moving and closes it before standing.

"It will take about half an hour for the others to get on, so let's get some practise in" she suggests.

"Practise?" You ask.

The third level of the house turns out to be a large training room. There are two training dummies and a few range practise targets.

"Because you are the lowest level you have the least health out of everyone here" Robin explains calmly "because of this you should probably stay further away from the monster when attacking it, so you're less likely to die. This means you will be using a ranged weapon but I doubt you've even taken it out of your inventory, so we should practise with it." Robin takes ten straight steps from one of the ranged targets and makes a mark on the ground with a piece of chalk from her inventory. She motions for you to stand there so you do. You equip the longbow from your inventory and Robin pulls out her light crossbow. Arrows automatically equip into your weapons so you don't have to waste time trying to load them during a battle.

"Pull the string back, think about where you want the arrow to hit, and let go." Robin instructs you, standing beside you.

You aim the bow towards the centre of the target and exhale as you release the string. You miss. The arrow sticks out of the left side of the target, inches away from the edge of the circle.
