Just an hour after your conversation with Robin and Sanji everyone else in the Mugiwara tribe has joined the game to start rebuilding. You are welcomed back with open arms by the group and immediately given the task of getting new tames alongside Nami and Luffy. Robin, Zoro and Sanji are heading out in the opposite direction for tames. This leaves Vivi, Franky and Brook to stay behind and rebuild the base.
Only one tame had survived the recent assault and that is the reindeer Chopper, named after Luffy's dog. Even the two great frost dragons had somehow fallen during the battle.
Despite Luffy's desperation to bring the last tame with your group he is convinced to leave it behind for safety reasons.
With that you, Luffy and Nami take off into the woods with piles of taming gear in your inventories.
You can't afford to be picky with the situation your tribe is in so you tame anything and everything in sight.
The three of you move swiftly through the jungle biome taming the different creatures that reside there. Hexdrupedal carnivores that are too small to ride became the most common tame for your group. There is a rusting of branches above you as your collection of tree dwelling creatures race along the treetops. There are a few creatures similar to monkeys and a large snake Luffy accidentally stumbled upon. There aren't many large creatures in the jungle so moving on to a more open environment is the best option.
The once dense jungle thins out to a temperate forests. The lush green canopy switches over to shades of gold and royal orange. Old leaves litter the ground and makes it hard for your team to get close enough to any of the deer like creatures to tame them. They are easily startled and bolt at the slightest noise.
Feline creatures the size of leopards also stalk the forest but they are sensitive to their surroundings so most vanish into the treetops before you can even notice their presence.
You split off from Nami and Luffy on a tangent. Hopefully the creatures won't take as much notice of one player compared to three and their many tames trailing along behind them.
Walking quietly proves to be quite difficult with the crunchy red and orange leaves littering the forest floor. If it were real life the dead foliage would contain an assortment of creepy crawlies that rodents and birds may feast on.
You step slowly and carefully onto the few patches of bare dirt as you make your way to the herd of tall deer creatures you had been stalking. As they come into your view you sneak behind a tree trunk, careful to not rouse suspicion. You peer out from behind the tree to get a better look at your prey. Their bellies and sides are light brown with bright golden stripes running from their chests to their flanks and along their backs. They graze on the small bushes, their heads occasionally shooting up when a branch rustles. You line up the shot in your crossbow with the closest creature and try move closer to get a better shot.
Just as you are pressing your finger down on the trigger there is a rustle from above and a large feline drops down from the treetops right on top of the deer you were aiming for. It is spotted red, orange and gold with a brown base coat of fur and intelligent amber eyes. This creature is much larger than the felines normally found around this biome and seems a lot fiercer too.
It's eyes meet yours for a brief second before it sinks it's elongated fangs into the deer's neck, crushing it's windpipe in the process. The rest of the deer bolt and leave their fallen kin to the mercy of the feline.
You hesitate as the deer hits the forest floor then quickly redirect your crossbow and shoot the tranquilliser arrow. It lands with a 'thunk' in the feline's side and it opens its bloodied mouth to growl at you.
