Over the past week while you had been spending less time online your tribe had found themselves at war.
The player named "Captain" and his followers had destroyed the Mugiwara base and the Heart base again and again so finally Luffy and Law as leaders of the tribes had decided to retaliate.

Their retaliation plan involved you, Vivi, a monkey and a giant bird. The outcome would be war being announced as well as putting them at a slight disadvantage by stealing some supplies and destroying some structures.

You are given dark armor, a grappling hook and a whole lot of explosives. A monkey that Nami had tamed earlier sits on your shoulder. He has been named Kip and after some explanation you find out that he can pick locks.

Then as dusk begins to fall you are waved off by your friends from both tribes and are lifted into the air by the huge bird that is being ridden by Vivi. You fly over towards Captain's base to see that most of the players are not online. From what you can tell there are only a few. From a distance you and Vivi use spy glasses to check what the players are doing. There is one that remains outside the whole time, checking on some of the massive tames they have. Another two sometimes exit the buildings and wander around before re-entering.

Vivi points out the main building where you will be raiding and then setting the bombs.

You both inch closer on the bird, hoping that they don't hear you. You wait until all three of the players are away from the main building when Vivi quickly drops you onto the roof and you crouch down until she has flown away, making sure no one had noticed.

When you are sure that they are still working away happily you drop Kip next to a trap door and he unlocks it with ease. He climbs back onto your shoulder and you make your way down the ladder and into the darkness of the main building. Unfortunately your tribe hadn't been able to collect all of the resources for night vision goggles so you end up stuck only able to see a metre in front of you.

You cautiously creep around, watching out for any traps and find a tripwire at the front door that you narrowly miss. Kip unlocks the eight side doors from the main large room that has turned out to be mostly empty, save for some storage chests that are full of some lower quality items. All the higher quality stuff must be more guarded.

The first door you get Kip to unlock contains a lot of smaller tames that would sit on a player's shoulder the same way Kip does. Their beady little eyes glance up at you but none of them make any particular noise to alert their owners of your existence.

The second door leads to a room that contains chests full of structure pieces for further expansion on this base. You place a few of the explosives in there knowing that the destruction of this particular room could set the tribe back a few days and give you a good advantage over them.

The third door has a room that also connects to the fourth door and is twice the size of the other rooms. There is a large gate on the other side of it and inside is a pair of drakes. The giant wingless dragon-like beasts glare down at you, forked tongues slipping out menacingly every now and then but other than that they make no move against you. You reluctantly place the explosives around that room, sad to damage such magnificent and rare beasts. But if you didn't get rid of them they would just be used against you and your own tames.

You close the door behind you and move to the other side of the main room where four more doors await you. The fifth door has a completely empty room behind it. Either whatever was filling it before has been moved to another room or is waiting to be put in. You still place a couple of explosives in there because even if it's just a little bit it will still set them back.

The sixth door contains a lot of work benches and a lot of resources. You sift through and take the rarer pieces then put down the explosives.

You get Kip to unlock the seventh door and step through to find the rest of the tribe. Your first bit of fright quickly dissipates as you realise they are all logged out and this is the room their empty bodies are kept in beside the respawn points. You carefully place some explosives around while trying not to step on any of the bodies. You know it won't wake them or anything but there is still the irrational fear that if you make a noise they will rise. You quickly step out, re-locking the door behind you so no one gets suspicious if someone else logs on while you're still here.

Finally you reach the eighth door and unlock it to find the special weapons. Of course it is the last room that you come across. You steal the best items from the storage chests and place explosives around the rest. Kip climbs back up onto your shoulder and you exit the final room.

With your mission almost complete you can feel the adrenaline pumping more than earlier. Messing up now would be unacceptable. You can hear your own heartbeat as you move onto the final stage. Pulling out the spray painter and filling it with bright pink paint you go to the back wall which you have ensured will not be damaged by any of the explosives and begin to write your message. Every line feels like it takes an eternity to paint as the noise is a lot louder than you had expected and the stress of finishing the mission is getting to you. As each second passes your heartbeat gets louder and faster and you unintentionally start blocking out other noises as part of the stress. All you can hear is the spray of the paint as it hits the wooden surface of the wall. Finally the message is finished and you step back to view your work.

You smile and quickly send a message to Vivi to let her know that you are finished and are making your way out now. As you take a step towards the ladder you had climbed down earlier the creak of a door fills your ears and you freeze. Before anyone can exit you duck under a table, further from your exit point than you had meant to be.

Peeking out you see a shadowed figure exit the seventh door after apparently just logging on.

He glances around for a moment then lights one of the wall torches. This is when you recognise him as MassacreSoldier. Not only is there one of Captain's tribe members in the same room as you but it is the best one when it comes to combat.

You shuffle further into the shadows under the table and watch as he wanders around a bit before finally noticing the message you had just painted on the wall behind you.

He steps closer to it and unfortunately between you and the ladder that could lead to your freedom.

A message from Vivi pops up to tell you that she is almost on top of the pick up point and that the other three who are online are distracted for the moment.

You quickly think over your choices and then as MassacreSoldier pulls up his own messaging screen, probably to ask the others about the writing, you make a dash for the front door.

You only remember the trip wire half a second before you set it off.

A cloud of green surrounds you as you burst out of the front door, torpidity rising rapidly. The edges of the screen begin to grow dark as you slow and stumble. The other three tribe members turn to look at you in shock then you are suddenly pushed to the ground from behind as MassacreSoldier tackles you.

You fall and lie there, unable to push yourself back up as you are on the verge of passing out.

"Almost got away with it didn't you." MassacreSoldier growls at you.

With that you push the button on your controller and the main building blows up, revealing the back wall with the message "Sincerely the Mugiwara and Heart tribe" surrounded by a huge pink heart.

"What were you saying about almost?" You say just before you pass out.

With that you disconnect from the server and remove the VR gear. You had managed to set back their tribe but you hadn't been able to return the loot to your own tribe. From previous experiences with that tribe told by your friends you are sure they will kill you from frustration and when you log back in tomorrow morning your character will be ready to respawn back at your home base.
