Behind every person you know, there's a person do don't know.
- AnonymousHazel's POV
"I only said that because I didn't want to end up with a new bodyguard tagging me around." I say looking at the new face for the very first time.
But my breath hitched as soon as my eyes land on him.
I look at him for a second, then another, and another.
I try to look away but it's as if, my eyes have a will of their own and so I continue to stare at him unable to take my eyes off his face.
It's him! It's actually him!
*****
I stare at the ceiling without a blink. I don't know what time it is but I'm pretty sure I've been awake for hours. Somehow I just can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes his face fills my dark vision.
Ever since I saw him this afternoon, I couldn't think straight. A lot of questions keep spinning in my mind. Why is he here? What's on his mind?
I remember staring at him in horror, my mind going blank. By the time I regained myself, he had already left. I didn't get a chance to talk to him and to be honest, a part of me is actually glad for it.
He'll be here tomorrow and the thought scares me. What should I tell him? Should I even confront him?
With a final breath I close my eyes. Trying my best not to think anymore. Guess I'll know his intentions soon.
Damon's POV
I got to know quite a bit about the Williams. He has 2 daughters, who I've already met. And 3 sons whom I've seen only in pictures.
Mr.Williams has given his position to Aiden, his oldest son, who is the CEO of the company and also the current youngest multi millionaire.
Hazel and Lisa study in the same University. Though Hazel is a year ahead which is also her final year.
The youngest one is Alex Williams. He is a singer by the way.
He is actually a rapper of an extremely well known boy band. Note the sarcasm.
I guess he doesn't have any interest in handling family business unlike his father and brother.
He hardly ever visits home which I'm glad about, I mean, no offense but the last thing I wanna see is a bunch of fan girls lining up here and throwing fits.
Today is the first day of my job. I signed up the contract and stuff to make it official. Over all, my job is pretty simple. Tag around Lisa everywhere she goes for like 24/7.
Though I'm a bit more worried about Hazel. Mr.Williams told me she has encountered some dangerous situations in the past. He didn't really elaborate it but I'm sure it's bad.
I wasn't given much details about the family. I don't know why but they seem a bit secretive. Then again, I'm an outsider. I'll only be given enough information which is relevant for my work.
Anyway, my suitcase has already been shifted as I'll be staying over there.
I reach the mansion early in the morning as I have to escort Lisa to her college. I walk in, wearing my usual black and white suit making me look professional as always.
As I entered I was greeted by Lisa who wore a yellow dress and high heels. She looked pretty.
Her makeup was light and decent. Her blonde hair was let open shimmering just above her elbow.
"C'mon, let's go!" she says, walking past me and leading the way.
But Hazel isn't here yet.
As if on cue, I hear footsteps. I turn around to find Hazel descending the staircase. Her outfit wasn't at all similar to Lisa's.
Just like yesterday, she wore a woolen full sleeved turtle neck with a pair of navy blue jeans. Her hair was tied into a messy bun.
She isn't wearing her glasses today and the bangs are tucked behind her ears which gives me a much clear look of her face. She has high cheekbones and a straight nose. Her tan skin almost perfectly smooth.
She didn't seem to put any efforts on her look. Regardless, she looked beautiful even with her messy look and the lack of make-up on her face.
She gets closer to us and my eyes widen just for a second in realization. Yes, her eyes are indeed hazel!
With thick dark lashes hovering her eyes.Slowly, she descended the stairs and with long strides walked past us without even acknowledging our presence.
Who is she, queen of England?
I look around but unlike me, no one else was startled. We reach outside and I look over at Mr. Barnes. "I'll be the one driving." I tell him to make it clear.
Mr. Barnes and Lisa exchange a look with each other.
"What? It's not like we are going separately." That's when I noticed the two cars in front of me. "Or may be we are."
I drove silently with Lisa sitting in the back, busy texting someone. While Hazel and Mr. Barnes took the other car.
"So umm... are you both in a fight or something?" I ask Lisa glancing her over the rear mirror.
She looks up turning off her mobile. "I mean things looked rough yesterday as well." I finished.
She let out a breath which seemed like a scoff and shook her head. "Nah. Nothing like that. Things have always been this way. Hazel prefers being alone, you see. She's kind of an antisocial."
She paused for a moment then spoke again. "You better stay clear of her. She's weird!" Lisa completed with a grimace.
I remain quite processing her words. Well I'm not surprised, Hazel did seem as a person who keeps a distance from others. No wonder she disregarded my charms.
Or maybe she just has poor eyesight.
She not only ignored me, in fact she was staring at me like she's seen a ghost, the other day.
That was the strangest reaction I ever received from someone.
But that's not the only thing bothering me. The thing bothering me right now is her face.
I swear I've seen that face before.
I've seen her before.
I just don't remember where.******
Have you ever seen someone for the first time who looks too familiar?
