It's easy to judge the mistakes of others, but difficult to recognize our own mistakes.
- AnonymousDamon's POV
I sceptically watch Hazel as she is about to turn for the hundredth time.
She's been pacing around in the corner of the hall since quite long now. And looks exasperated to say the least.
Next to me, Mr. Barnes as well is watching the same. I mean Walter.
Is she angry because of yesterday?
"Umm... Walter? Please enlighten me."
I say in a low voice. We stare at Hazel as she spins on her heels yet again.
"She's angry." He says thoughtfully. As if it isn't obvious at all.
"I figured that much as well." I remark in a bored voice. "I wanna know why is she angry?"
Or with whom to be specific, I think to myself.
"Walter where is he?" Hazel snapped at Mr. Barnes, irritation clear in her voice.
Wait, who's he?
"He isn't even attending my calls. It's making me furious now." She practically shouted.
"It's because you're furious he's not attending your calls Miss Williams." Walter said with a sigh.
Hazel stared at him for a moment, then walked out of the house. Good thing it's weekend, or else it would be horrendous if she showed up to college with such a temper. I feel bad for every single person in her university.
"Who is she talking about? Is it that Frank guy again?" I ask, my voice changing a tone in the end.
Like seriously, does he never leave her alone?
"No it's not that Frank guy again." Walter quotes my words.
"She's talking about Aiden."
"Aiden as in Aiden Williams? Her brother?"
"No as in her boyfriend." Walter replies in a sarcastic tone.
So that's whom Hazel is about to vent her anger on this time? Is there anyone in the house who doesn't receive the wrath of Hazel?
"Does she have troubles with everyone?"
"Everyone, except one person." Walter stated.
"Oh really! Who is it?"
"Aiden." He says flatly.
"You gotta be kidding me! She seems ready to strangle him to death." I retort as a matter of fact.
He laughed at my comment and shook his head. "Maybe you're right but the only reason she is furious is because Aiden didn't attend the party last night which he was supposed to."
I think about it for a moment. That makes sense since he is the CEO of the company. But his presence wasn't much necessary since Mr. Williams was here. So why does it matter so much to Hazel?
"I'm quite shocked that a person's absence actually made a difference to her."
"Oh! You just don't know boy!" Walter exclaimed. "Aiden and Miss Williams are very close and he adores her a lot."
He completed his statement with so much affection in his eyes it made me cringe.
I think he's exaggerating a bit too much but who cares?
"Wait a sec! Didn't Hazel leave the house a few minutes ago?" I ask franticly.
"Yes she did." Walter agreed still standing next to me.
"So shouldn't you be with her?"
"It's Saturday." He replied.
As if his answer makes complete sense to my question.
"So what?"
"Oh right well... Apparently, no bodyguards are supposed to accompany Miss Williams on Saturdays."
"Why because she's immortal on Saturdays?" I snort.
Walter rolled his eyes at me. "Don't know about that but as per Mr. Williams orders, I have to follow it."
"So where does she go on Saturdays?"
"That's an unsolved mystery." Walter whispered with a dramatic expression before walking away.
What place is this she's visiting which can't be accompanied by others.
Library? Starbucks? Frank's place?I shake the thought away distastefully.
Oh my goodness! Don't tell me she's a drug dealer!
Yes that completely make sense. Why else would she insist on going alone?
But then again, she's filthy rich! Why would she involve in such a thing.
Yeah, she wouldn't! I mean, even tho she's rude, annoying, self absorbed and a brat..
She still doesn't seem that sort.So what exactly is it?
