Do not mind anything that anyone tells you about anyone else. Judge everyone and everything for yourself.

Damon's POV

I guess my job won't be as difficult as I thought it would be. Lisa isn't a brat so it's not difficult to handle her. At least not as hard as my previous jobs.

I remember my most horrible experience in life. Being a bodyguard of an eighth year old girl.

In all honesty, that kido needed a babysitter and not a bodyguard.

She used to force me to play with her dolls. Not only that, she also assigned me to take personal care of some of her dolls. Those days were pure torture.

I shook my head, not wanting to recall any further. I lay on the bed in the room I'm given.

Its a simple spacious room which Mr. Barnes and I share. There are two queen size beds adjacent to each other. The room is across the hallway and right next to the kitchen.

Alex's room is just opposite to mine. Which is empty at the moment.

Lisa's room is upstairs along with Mr & Mrs Williams room and also his his study.

Hazel and Aiden stay on the second floor. Which is quite a surprise considering the fact that there are many more empty bedrooms over here and the floor above. I guess she really prefers to be alone and isolated.

But then Aiden's room is there as well...

Wait! What am I, an investigator?

I woke up checking the clock on the wall. It read 2:30 am. I guess I'm gonna have a sleepless night on my first day. I groan when I realize I have to wake up at 7 in the morning.

I recall the incident which took place this afternoon but dismissed the thoughts immediately. God! My brain really needs to learn when to shut down.

I lie on the bed and close my eyes trying to get some sleep but a faint sound hits my ears just when I was finally drifting off.

I woke up immediately sitting up straight. What was that?

Did someone break in? What if it's a cat? Wait do cats even visit such places?

I try to focus on the sound and realize what it actually is. WHAT KIND OF A CRACKHEAD IS LISTENING TO MUSIC AT THREE IN THE MORNING!

I look at Mr. Barnes peacefully sleeping to my left. Wait a sec, we are the only ones on this floor. Then who the hell is playing the music!

...

Is it a ghost?

I shake my head frantically. I'm too exhausted to even think straight. It must be Lisa. Yeah definitely her. I guess I really need some sleep.

With that thought in mind, I crash the bed immediately drifting off.

I woke up with a slight headache the next morning. Wow! What an amazing way to start a day.

Mr. Barnes and I join the dining table for breakfast with the family as Mr. Williams had something important to discuss.

Mrs. Williams sat next to him and down came Lisa with a bright 'Good morning'.

There's always that one person in the family who enlightens the house with their enthusiastic nature. I guess here, that person is Lisa.

She looked cute in a dark green tank top and skinny black jeans.

She kissed Mrs. Williams cheek and sat down right next to me, though I wasn't surprised at all.

"Can't resist me?" I ask her in a low voice flashing her a smirk.
