If you're gonna be bad, be bad with purpose. Otherwise you're just not worth forgiving.

Damon's POV

It's practically been three days since I last had a conversation with Hazel.

I want to get hold of Hazel to tell her how sorry I am but I didn't get a chance. Yet.

She had lost her mother, and there I was! Giving her a speech on family.

But she had been inside her room the whole day.

And I'm not supposed to be anywhere near that corridor, let alone her room.

After that evening, I thought things would have changed a bit for us but I don't think it's possible now.

She's been leaving for college early since the past two days and returns late at night.

I don't know if there's something going on with Hazel these days but then again, there's always something going on with her.

Never mind tho cause I finally got to know when exactly she would be leaving tomorrow thanks to Walter.

Although it was really hard to convince him that I am not interested in her all I want to do is apologize.

*****

It's Wednesday and I have to take Lisa to college in exactly fifty minutes from now. I don't know why but I wish I could stay by Hazel's side more often.

Being Lisa's bodyguard is nice. She's a friendly person always the one to start a conversation. It's never awkward around her. That's everything a bodyguard could want from their client. But why do I feel unsatisfied.

I asked Lisa about her family matter. She said Hazel didn't appreciate the idea of Mr. Steve remarrying. Hence the hatred towards Mrs. Scarlet. Tho she has always tried to make things right with Hazel.

I wait in the hall and just like Walter said, Hazel is all ready to leave already an hour prior.

She descends the stairs looking all 'Queen Elsa' but I can't really blame her cause they do have things in common with all that cold look, cold heart and everything cold.

And hey! That long blue trench coat trailing behind her over her blue top and jeans totally add up like an icing on the cake.

Yup! I'm right. She can totally do an Elsa cosplay.

With this stupid Disney imagination of mine I didn't even realize that she went past me and was already leaving the house.

Yeah call me an idiot!

I ran up to her almost skidding but stopped myself just in time before I could fall on her.

She was startled for moment, her big eyes going even wider as she turned to face me.

I was about to move but was distracted by her eyes.

There's just something about that deep hazel colour which grabs my attention every single time.

But then she narrowed them on me bringing me back to earth.

"Hi!" I greeted her flashing her a breath taking smile.

She opened her mouth to reply but then refrained herself from saying something.

Instead she reached for the door, opening it while I reached out to shut it at the same time resulting in my hand slamming hers'.

We both exchange a glance. The moment I touched her seem to pause just there.

It felt as if my whole body electrified instantly with that single touch, before she abruptly pulled her hand away.
