Elizabeth's Pov
"You get to tell them" I said as I sat in front of the fire, trying to warm up from the snowball fight Phillip and I had not to long ago......as well as trying to warm up from the snow covered proposal.
Proposal.
He proposed. In the snow. It was so romantic, it was almost like one of those fairy tales that Helen is always talking about.
"Why do I have to tell them?" Phillip questioned as he stoked the fire, keeping it alive and roaring in this cold weather.
"You proposed."
"That means you get to tell them." He gave me his signature smile, knowing that he had most likely won our little debate.
We had been debating about who should tell everyone, knowing quite well that who ever did would be bombarded by questions , offers, ideas and more questions. It made me more anxious telling the oddities about our engagement, than anything else.
"Fine. I will tell them, but you have to be there as well." I surrendered as he sat down on the seat next to me, allowing me to rest my head on my shoulder.
"Deal."
Phillip linked his fingers around my hand, the back of his thumb tracing the outline of the ring which now sat on my finger. But ,I couldn't help but smile when I looked down at my left hand. Knowing that the ring symbolized him wanting to spend the rest of his life with me.

"Are you ready?" Phillip asked as he helped me out of the carriage.
"Not even close."
I slid my arm into the crook of his as we walked in the circus, me getting to tell everyone that we were now engaged.
Pushing past the flap in order to get everyone, we could see that everyone was already rehearing and focused on what they were doing in tonight's show. Lettie singing "This is me" while everyone helped add choreo to make it different from the night before.
"Maybe, we should tell them later. They seem really focused right now." I whispered, silently hoping that he would agree with me. I am not a big fan of the spotlight, like when I am performing that is okay because I am doing tricks and things like that. But when I am not on the stage, I am just Lizzy. I don't want attention.
Phillip cleared his throat getting everyone's attention as they saw the two of us standing together.
"They aren't focused anymore" He smirked.
I knew he was excited to tell people, but boy was I going to get him back for this. I don't know how exactly, but I will.
"Sometimes I don't like you." I whispered jokingly as he smirk changed into a smile.
I took a step forward, pulling Phillip along with me. " Umm, everyone. Phillip and I would like to announce something." I took a big breath before continuing. "We are engaged." I said, laughing nervously after.
And that is when it all happened. Everyone began throwing questions at the two of us as well as congratulating us.
"When is the wedding going to be?" Someone yelled out over the crowd.
"We don't know yet." I said as someone else threw the next question out.
"Where will it be?"
"Who will be going?"
The questions just got more and more by the second as I silently looked at Phillip for help, not knowing how to answer all these questions. I mean we only got engaged like a couple of hours ago.
